'I'm sorry..' He mumbled. His eyes searched for hers, but hers were looking down. Not interested anymore.

'I didn't mean.. to..' What could he possibely say that made this right?

'You're a bad liar, you know that?' Kara's voice made him feel things. Things he didn't even know he could feel.

'A-a liar? Kara, I'm not who you think I am.' He claimed. She thought for a second and then looked up in his eyes suprisingly, which made him speechless.

'Prove it.' Their eyes where locked. They couldn't take their eyes of each other. Both. And they had no idea why so.

'I will.' She nodded and looked away while Mon-el just stood there, still watching her.

'You know.. you- your..' Mon-el laughed because he couldn't even get a sentence out of his mounth. Kara looked back at him and smiled for the first time around him. She thought that because he was so awkward it made him even cute. He's cute. Wait.. no! He's a player. Don't fall for him.

'Your eyes are..' She waited for him to say something, but when they locked their eyes again, he froze. AGAIN.
'Are.. cool. They're cool.' Why did he say cool?! Playing baseball, that's cool. Not Kara her eyes. They were way more than cool.

'Haha, thanks.' Kara started blushing and turned around. Suddenly she felt a tight grip around her wrist.

When she looked over her shoulder to face him, he quickly let go of her. Afraid that he did something wrong.

'So.. I, I-uh.. see you around?' Really Mon-el?! Stop being so shy and man up! This is Kara you're talking to.

Kara smiled but she stopped when she heard all the boys of his team laugh. They were watching them.

'I'm not so sure if your friends would like that.' And with that said, she walked away from him.

Mon-el his feelings were racing. Love. Anger.

He turned around to walk back and face his team.

'What the hell?!' He yelled while giving them a middle finger. They deserved that.
Maybe they took away his chance with the girl he had liked for ages.. He wasn't happy about it.
