Ghoststar draws a pained breath, and calls out to Sokkio, "thank you for your help young one, you are a part of this clan forever." He sways a bit and takes a step towards Lightheart, then drops to the ground dead.
She stared in horror at Snowstorm and Ghoststar. She held back tears and ran to the medicine cat den, grabbing herbs swiftly. Tears were streaming like rivers from her eyes as she tried to desperatley save Snowstorm.
The kit and the elder appear before the clan and say as one, "The price is paid, a life for power and a power for life. The price is paid if full." with this, Ghoststar's body rots and turns to dust before everyone's eyes, leaving only bones.
The surviving elders look on. some looking slightly sad while others say, "good riddens... the demon is finally dead... just as he should have been long ago." Most of the elders will never acknowledge Ghoststar.
Treesap's breathing was heavy. He was crouching over Gingerspeck. He protected her as shadows clawed at his bacl. He trembled and stumbled towards Ghoststar's remains, bowing his head.
Oakear growled low at the other elders as he lay inside the den, his head peaking out to look at Ghoststar

Snowstorm wakes up to find the bones of ghoststar. "No..ghoststar" she cries looking at the bones "so I guess im leader now? I never even got to be deputy!" She cries.
Now that Bloodstream had discovered that Ghostpelt AND Soulstar are gone into starclan she has left the Clan to be on her own, all her closest friends in the entire Clan, gone. When battle calls her she will fight, but that is all she does for the Clan now...
Ghoststar is dead, because he has no soul, he cant go to starclan, and will never see soulstar, lightheart or his kits. he passes into void, nothing remains of him other then the memories others carry within them, and in doing so, seals shadowwoods forever.
Ghoststar's mother, watching from the sky bows her head knowing her son would never know how much she truly loved him, and how she had distanced herself from him because she knew what would happen and refused to get attached to her son out of fear, guilt and anguish.
