Leafkit hops around happily and mews, "Finally! My naming ceremony is tommorow...I will be Leafpaw!" She lowers voice into a low cry and flattens her ears. "Snowstorm will not be my mentor... she is a queen..."
Feathershine smiled at the kit. Leapordpaw chuckled.
Nightstorm disappears into the ground since Soulclan was burying him.
Snowstorm purrs as her mate, Flametail, walked into the nursery. "Hello again, Feather -shine, Leopardpaw." She meowed.
Feathershine met her gaze and smiled, looking at the place where Nightstorm was. Leapordpaw smiled. "Hello, Snowstorm."
"I had a bad dream..." she meowed in fear. "Leafkit died because she got captured by an owl... and that Ghostpelt was a threat to the clan..."
Feathershine looked up. "It's probably just a dream." She reassured her.
"Okay... also, one of my kits never woke up."
Feathershine looked at Snowstorm. "I'll check it out." She padded in and sniffed the kit.
She looked at her kit, Mousekit. "Is he okay?"
"When was he born?"
"He was born a few days ago." She whispered.
Feathershine sighed. "I'm afraid he will not be waking up." She meowed.
"WHAT!?" Snowstorm yelled sadly.
Feathershine looked down. "I'm sorry..." Leapordpaw ducked her head in.
Snowstorm watched the lifeless kit. "I hope he does not turn into a shadow.." She cried. Mousekit was a gray and black kit with white paws and his eyes are green. "He was so young to die..." she sniffed, walking outside and putting the kit on the ground. "Wait... MOUSE- KIT HAS TEETH MARKS ON HIM!"
Feathershine looked at him closely. Leapordpaw watched as Whisperpaw's shadow showed up, its eyes now red.
"Huh..?" Snowstorm looked up.
Whisperpaw chuckled "No." Leapordpaw watched Feathershine's dead sister.
Feathershine nodded, keeping her eyes on Whisperpaw as she walked out of camp.
Snowstorm followed Feathershine. "Feathershine. I have a secret to tell you."
Feathershine looked at Snowstorm. "What is it?"
"I was born a Frostclan cat. Then river pool stole me and took me to the forest when I was a kit."
Feathershine looked puzzled. "But Frostclan is so far away from here..."
"I know, but she ran really fast. She knew I was part of the prophecy so she stole me." Snowstorm mewed. Then Leopordpaw found me, then all that stuff happened and... I became a warrior."
Feathershine gasped "Really?" Leopordpaw walked out of camp into the back entrance secretly.
"Yes..." Snowstorm said.
Feathershine nodded."So she took you, knowing you were part of the prophecy?"
"Yes."
Feathershine sighed, her fur lying flat. "Thank Starclan."
"Where do you think Leopordpaw is?" Snowstorm asked, looking around.
Feathershine shrugged, looking around. Leopordpaw was sitting in a tree.
A shadow appeared right next to Leopordpaw. Two kits from the nursery called Lightningkit and Thunderkit were outside, very near the apprentice. "RUN,KITS!" She yowled.
Riverpool appeared and bit Lightningkit, who was trying to run. "AHH!" The kit squealed. Stormkit ran ahead. Leopordpaw froze. "Riverpool...let the kit go." She snarled.
"NO! HE IS SNOWSTORM'S KIN! I WILL KILL HIM AND COMMAND MY SHADOWS TO CROSS THE LAND!"
Lightningkit cries in pain. Riverpool digs her claws into his tiny tail. She disappears, and 3 shadows replace her, they continue digging into the kit.
Leopordpaw tackled the shadow, making it fall.
Scarlet red blood started spilling out of Lightningkit. "Help...please..."
Treesap yowled, leaping at the other shadow. Goldheart was clawing at the third one.
Oakear ran from the entrance, picking up the kit and carrying him to the nursery. He started to frantically lick the kit's wound, his muzzle turning red from the liquid.
Riverpool took Lightningkit from Oakear, scratching him. Leopordpaw tackled Riverpool to the ground. "I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER THOUGHT OF YOU AS AN ROLEMODEL!"
"You did...?" She whispered. "I thought no one listened to me..."
She dropped Lightningkit.
Lightningkit cried and ran into the nursery.
Leopordpaw got up. "Of course I did!"
Her eyes turned red. "I DON'T CARE! I WAS EVIL THE WHOLE TIME!" She ran and bit into Lightningkit's back, making him squeal.
