"You must be really enjoying yourself.."
I turned around and widened my eyes. A white figure appeared behind me as everything fades to black and white.
It felt like time has slowed down as my chair disappeared and I was standing face to face with someone familiar. I couldn't see his face clearly since it was covered by his hair. He reached out to me and said,
"I'm happy for you."
Tears were flooding my eyes. Who was this person and why am I crying?
"Don't cry Matthew.."
How did he know my name?
He was approaching me, then slowly and gently wiped my eyes.
"I'll always be by your side."
The figure slowly vanished into thin air as I felt drowsy and-

"Agent Hargreaves!"
"Matt!"
"Agent Hargreaves, are you alright?"
I opened my eyes and quickly sat up, but felt a sharp pain in my chest.
So it was just a dream...
"Agent Hargreaves, are you alright?" I heard Daniel say, looking at me.
"What happened..?" I asked.
"You suddenly passed out while we were at the cafe," Nathan said, "maybe you just needed some rest so we decided to bring you home and work on the case in our rooms."
"But don't worry," Jacob said, fixing his glasses, "we did a lot more work than we usually do so you don't have anything to worry about."
I glanced at Tom, who was staring at me with worry in his....'eyes..?'
"Matt.."
"It's Agent Har- GAH- shit!"
Why did my chest hurt? It felt like someone stabbed me in the gut, but I don't even have any wounds. Was it the coffee? Mmmmmmaybe the coffee..
"Agent Hargreaves," Nathan continued, "you must get some rest. It's for your own good."
"But- the case!" I interrupted.
"We'll take care of it," Nathan said, glancing at Tom.
"Anything I can do to help-"
No! No there is nothing!" I yelled, "everyone, leave my room this instant!"
Everyone obeyed and walked out. A few minutes have already passed and silence felt calming. I couldn't help but continue thinking about that one "dream," if I could even call it a dream, it didn't feel like a dream at all, it felt real. It was hard to think about the person who disappeared. It felt like I've known him from somewhere. He seemed to be wearing a white cloak and a chain hanging loosely around his neck. He wasn't even scary or intimidating in any way. He didn't give off a bad vibe, he just felt so....comforting.
"Don't cry, Matthew."
How did he even know my name...?
When I watched him disappear, it felt like a part of me disappeared with him. Oh god, this is all so confusing. My eyelids felt heavy as I drifted off to sleep.
(Tom's POV)
It's been five weeks since (Y/N) went missing. I can't hold it much longer. Each day I get weaker and weaker, my head's spinning, my mind's blank, all I thought about was (Y/N). Maybe I should've called the police instead of Matt, but that would gain a lot of attention and the guy would've probably taken her away. Or maybe she's already gone!
Tom, keep it together! Keep it together! Dammit, why did this have to happen?!
Tears were flooding my eyes and I couldn't help but grip my hoodie and bury my face in my sleeves. It hurts so much, having to suffer without the person you love to comfort you. It didn't feel good at all. Sometimes I question what the hell happened to Matt. I never expected him to be arrogant and different from his past self. I know he still likes (Y/N), and maybe it's hard to let go, but he has to do it ((GODDAMMIT TOM JUST SHUT UP D:< )). Man, I feel like Edd's really having a fine time wherever he is, tryna fuck my life up and all that shit, must be so fucking fun. I wiped the dried up tears off my face, got up, and tried to find something to drink. The fridge had nothing but milk, juice, iced tea, and cola. I sighed and grabbed the milk, walked to the counter, took a glass, and poured myself a drink. I took a huge gulp and sighed. It wasn't the same as Smirnoff. In fact, I haven't even drunk Smirnoff in so long.
"Uhhh, sir..? Is there anything I can help you with?"
I quickly turned around to find Agent Nutzlos glaring at me, arms crossed.
"N-Nothing," I stuttered, "I was just trying to get myself a drink."
"For your information, please look at the bottom of the glass."
Sounded stupid but I raised the glass and found a glassy inscription.
Agent Nutzlos
I awkwardly smiled, "O-Ohh, uhm, I believe this is your-"
"Listen, vacuous," he said, walking towards me, his teeth gritted, "had it not been for your association with Agent Hargreaves, I would've demanded that you be kicked out of our humble home!"
The lights turned on.
"Agent Nutzlos, a word with you.." Matt said, walking out and gripping his chest.
"Yes, Agent Hargreaves," Nuts-boy responded, flipping me off in the back as he followed Matt to his room.
(Jacob's POV)
Gah! I hate this stupid piece of trash! He's the reason why Matt's getting distracted! Matt's been very different lately ever since black-eyes came here.
"Jacob," Matt said, taking off his glasses and wiping them with his handkerchief, "I know how you feel about Thomas, and believe me, I feel the same way too-"
"Feel the same way?! Feel the same way! Hah, alright, alright." I chuckled, before cracking a knuckle, "I hate that stupid son of a bitch, alright-"
"SHH!" Matt quickly ran towards me and covered my mouth as we both fell to the ground. We turned our heads and saw checkered shoes standing less than a foot away from the door.
"THOMAS I KNOW YOU'RE LISTENING!" Matt yelled, "YOU BETTER NOT MAKE ME THROW YOU OUT!"
We watched him slowly back up before walking away. Matt slowly got up and helped me up as we brushed ourselves off.
"Look, I know it's a pain in the ass alright, but just deal with this until our stupid case is fixed," Matt said.
I sighed, running my hand through my hair, this was going to be harder than I thought.
