"Wait, wait, that's perfect. Just keep still for a second."

"Hey, doll."
Luke glanced over his shoulder and forced a smile in response to his boyfriend, rather than speaking. Then, turned to look into the viewfinder of his camera again.
"Actually, Anna, could you give me just a second? You can just grab a drink and move on to our next location if you'd like." Luke questioned and the brunette nodded a bit before walking off to get a bottled water.
"Silent treatment?" Michael questioned as Luke turned to face him.
"No, I just don't feel like talking much today." Luke muttered and turned the switch on his camera to shut it off until he was ready to use it again.
"You spoke to Hannah just a second ago." Michael said and Luke rolled his eyes.
"I spoke to Anna, but only to let her know that I need a moment. You know, instead of just walking off during a photoshoot and not saying a word." Luke carefully shoved his camera into his camera bag before starting to walk away. "I was being professional, instead of being a grouch."
"I have a feeling you're avoiding me for some reason." Michael said and followed closely behind Luke.
"Maybe I'm doing it for the same reason that you ditched me last night." Luke said between gritted teeth.
"Oh, come on, don't be so dramatic. I was just hanging out with the guys." Michael said and grabbed Luke's arm to stop him.
Luke shook Michael's hand off and turned to look at him. "On our anniversary? You decided to hang out with the guys on our anniversary. Look, I really hate to be that person, but you promised me a nice dinner for our anniversary. I went to the restaurant and you stood me up. We'd been planning that for a month now."
"I'll make it up to you." Michael said and Luke sighed a little. He stood in silence for a moment, trying to decide on whether he should even try anymore, or if he should just give up.
"Tonight. The Steak House. 8 o'clock. We'll pretend it's yesterday." Luke said and turned to walk away. "Don't fuck up again."
"I ca-"
"Don't say you can't. If you truly want to make it up to me, you'll be there."
-
By 8 o'clock, Luke arrived at the restaurant and got a table for two. The only thing he ordered was a glass of water, and he explained to the waiter that his date would be there soon. But, 30 minutes went by, and Michael still wasn't there. Another hour passed by, and he still wasn't there. Luke was stood up by his own boyfriend-- again.
Luke sighed and twirled the straw around in his glass, staring down at his phone.
"Are you alright?" A familiar voice rang in Luke's ears.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just.. I was just about to leave." Luke stood up without even looking up from his phone, causing him to collide with the man.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry." The man then grabbed a napkin and tried to wipe the spilt Pepsi off of Luke's shirt.
"Where the hell is my-" Before Luke could finish his sentence, he realized that he knew that voice from somewhere. He lifted his head to look up from the floor, and his face turned a bright red when he saw his teacher standing there. "Hi, Mr. Hood."
"Hey. I'm sorry I spilled soda on you."
"I'm just sorry I wasn't paying any attention. This wouldn't have happened if I just looked up for a second-"
"Don't worry about it." His teacher said. "Maybe we should go to the bathroom. It would be easier to clean your shirt if we can use wet towels."
"Maybe you're right." Luke mumbled and took a moment to try to find where his phone had fallen, before following his teacher to the bathroom.
Once they arrived to the bathroom, Calum motioned for Luke to hop up onto the bathroom counter next to the sink, and turned the water on to dampen a few paper towels.
"I wonder if it would be easier if I took my shirt off." Luke thought aloud, earning a glance from his teacher.
"I think it's just fine this way." Calum said and started to dab the shirt with one of the wet towels. Luke tried not to think about the fact that his teacher- the teacher that he may or may not have had a slight crush on- was practically touching his chest.
"I think you're right." Luke murmured, trying to fight the urge to place his hand on top of Calum's.
"See? The stain is almost out."
"Yeah, but then that leaves a big wet spot on my shirt. It might take a while to dry, and I'm not going back out there until it is dry." Luke said, leaning forward a little so that their faces were only a few inches apart.
"Well, you can't just sit in here all alone doing nothing."
"Then, maybe you should keep me company." Luke responded. He knew exactly what he was doing at this point. And on one hand, he couldn't wait for this to happen, but on the other hand, he felt bad for doing this to Michael
"And what exactly would we do?"
"I think you know exactly what we'd do."
