Lesia

"Don't you worry, Sia. I'll always be there for you."

My eyes widened at how determined he sounded, tears falling freely from my eyes as I slowly began to shake me head. "Ye can'o make p'omises such as t'ose!" I cried out as I took a step back. Hands graced my line of vision as I wrapped my arms around me, the sound of metal hitting against each other off in the distance filling my ears as I was brought into a chest. "And why can't I?" My sobbing ceased at the response I was given, my silver and purple hair cascading wildly down my back as I tilted my head back to look at him.

"B'cause ye can-!"

A loud scream left my lips as dust and debris clouded my vision, the comfort of being in his arms being snatched away from me as I was jerked back. "Sia!! Sia!!" A scream left my lips as I was forcibly pulled back over and over again, tears streaming down my face once again as I tired to reach out for him. "No! Don'o leave me!!" I cried out. My premature silver and purple flames burned whatever was pulling me, a screech beating against my eardrums as I ran back towards him.

"Run! Sia! Get your sister and get out of here!" He yelled out as he fought back the guards. A sob left my lips as I shook my head, my eyes taking notice of the gash on his side as my flames circled around me slowly. "I-I can'o! I can'o leave ye b'hind!" I cried out. My flames shot out as if heeding my command, the unique colored flames burning the guard down as he turned his head towards me. I hissed as I was suddenly blinded, the feeling of something hitting the back of my neck causing me to gasp out in pain as my world slowly started to become black.

"ASYT!!"

Gasping loudly as I woke up, I shakily brought a hand up to my head as it suddenly began to pound. "Jus' what in da...?" Blinking as I felt something fall from my chin, I wiped a hand underneath it and felt my eyes widen as I realized that I was crying. "W-why...?" Sniffling lightly as I began to wipe away at my tear stained face, I let my eyes roam over towards the clock on my wall as I checked the time.

Five thirty...

"I still 'ave a while b'fore we gotta go ta s'cool..."

Murmuring the words under my breath, I carefully got off my bed before grabbing my towel and made my way to the bathroom. Blinking my eyes as I let out a lazy yawn, I unlocked my phone and shuffled my music before turning on the water. Once I was sure that the water was good enough, I quickly stripped out of my pajamas and hopped in the shower as one of my favorite songs came on.

"Little girls, listen closely'Cause no one told meBut you deserve to knowThat in this world, you are not beholdenYou do not owe themYour body and your soul"

Singing the words softly under my breath, I began washing my body and hair before rinsing off and hopping out of the tub. Stopping my music briefly as I left the bathroom, I quietly made my way back to my room and began getting dressed as Silas slowly began waking up from his slumber. "Lee...?" Petting the small fur ball on his head gently, I shrugged on my sack and made sure to place him in it before exiting out of my room once again.

Quickly I scurried down to the living room, making sure to write a note to my sister before making my way out of the house. "What are you doing up so early?" I heard Silas yawn out as I made my way downtown. "I 'ad a bad d'eam..." I muttered softly. Pouting lightly when I felt him perk up in my bag, I felt my eyes brighten in happiness as they landed on my favorite coffee place. Skipping lightly as I entered the recently opened cafe, I gave the employees a bright smile as they greeted me with friendly ones.
