FACTS
. makopaw visits pearlkit's (and soon coconutstar's) grave every day to talk to her and simply mourn/rest, as he believes no cat deserves to be forgotten.
. i have actually been rethinking quailheart's death, and i'm very tempted to have them switch places and have makopaw die much earlier than intended, and have quailheart live longer.
. makopaw is pretty terrible at everything he does except for battling- and even then, he's only slightly above average for an apprentice.
. he thinks sharkshine and clearsplash are very pretty.
. on the other hand, he finds shellpaw incredibly beautiful/handsome as well!
. he feels like he wouldn't be a good father if he were to have kits, but he still would give it his all.
. once he gets a little bit older, my headcanon voice for him is evan hansen / ben platt.
. i draw him with his ribs slightly showing sometimes. not because he's starving, but because his metabolism is so fast that if he forgets to eat he loses weight much faster than the average cat.
. he views sharkshine as a role model, and wants to make her proud.
. he can sense sharkshine's feelings a lot of the time, due to being so adapt to behavior, but he doesn't let it show, in fear of what would happen if she knew he could see her past her facade a lot of the time.
. he's deathly scared of crabs.
. he was going to have a sibling named panda, but i scrapped it.
