III

Her heart rate accelerated as she woke up in her own room. The book Tony bought her for her sixteenth birthday, she never read it. Kai picked it up slowly, and looked up. She loved Rupi Kaur.  Kai screamed, as the black and white pages leapt out. Tears falling out of her eyes. Kai was claustrophobic. Pages that circled her eyes, blocking her view from the outside world.

"Kai! Kai!" Tony walked in and grabbed her arms, holding her down. "Hey, hey. This isn't real, it's an illusion. Not real, stay calm." He grabbed her hands, smiling. "Stay calm." Tony whispered.

"Now I need you to stand up, and just breathe. Don't kill the person on the opposite side of the door." He nodded, straightening her up.

Yet, when the door opened, Kai tackled Stephen Strange. "I warned you she was going to do that, I said she was strong, yet your stupid page trick scared the fuck out of her." Tony grabbed Kai. "Okay, girly, it's okay." He sat her down.

"THE FUCK IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE TONY, THE MAN OF MY DREAMS?!" Her voice screamed. When she calmed and regained her breathe, she noticed who he was.

"I've seen you before, you took Loki. I was worried about him, Loki's one of my bestfriends, he's not dangerous so I'd appreciate it if you would never do that to him again." She stood, dusting herself off.

"You know Wizard?" Tony astonished, "You two would get along quite well, witch and wizard."

"First of all, controlling light and energy does not make me a witch, we've been over this." Kai stopped to watch Tony's reaction. He paused too, "BRUCE!" She exclaimed and shoved the wizard.

Bruce jumped at her sudden hug and wrap of arms around her neck. Stephen looked at the girl and frowned, she was okay in his eyes, she just needed a little help. Bruce laughed and hugged the smaller girl back.

Then, Tony disrupted the conversation between the two.

"Kai, does your hair move around naturally like that?"
