"I didn't mean harm!" She explained to Tony who rolled his eyes. "You were the one that told me to go outside, so technically this is your fault!" Kai defended, he shot her a look.

"My fault?!-" "If I may intervene." Stephen pushed himself into the conversation, Kai groaned and sat on the floor. "How the fuck are we even getting home?! Pepper's going to be sooo mad at you." Kai lightly kicked Tony's leg.

Peter sat next to her as Kai frustratedly threw a scrap piece of metal, "Fighting a fucking alien bitch was not part of this team, okay? I should've joined Cap!" Her words slipped out of her mouth.

Tony gaped at her, "Did Steve Rogers teach you how to control yourself? Did he take you in?" "GOSH STOP USING THAT EXCUSE, AT LEAST HE DOESN'T TREAT ME LIKE I'M SOME ANTISOCIAL FREAK ALL THE TIME!" She screamed, the tears that ran down her face were red.

"Kai... your, tears." Stephen said cautiously, "Yeah it fucking happens to me. Steve taught me it's a sign of stress and nerves." She hissed under her breathe snd stood up. "I'm gonna find a place to take a fucking nap!" Kai picked up another piece of metal and threw it in their general direction.

Stephen watched her leave, "I should... talk to her while you find out a way back." He backed away.

What surprised Stephen the most was the way she broke down, she didn't cry, just pulled her knees into her chest and trace figures on her knees. He cleared his throat and she flinched, but didn't look up.

"Tell me about yourself," Stephen sat beside her. She didn't move her face, but spoke softly.

"The planet I came from was never exposed to light, it was dark, I was the first source of light they had. My own parents were afraid of me up until I was seven." As she spoke, tears flowed down her face.

"But never say they didn't love me, they were the only thing I loved and eventually they talked to me, they introduced me to the people and the people came to me. We were good friends with the Asgardian king and queen, which is where I met Thor and Loki who helped me even more nonetheless. Everyone was fascinated with me, and I didn't mind." Her tears were a light lavender. She had never opened up to anyone like this, well, anyone except Pietro.

"My light changes colors too, I hate the color white. I can make it blue, orange, I used to put on light shows for my parents." Kai smiled at the memories, "And then Thanos came. My parents shielded me away from him and sent me to Asgard when I was twelve. I watched them get brutally murdered for it as I left, it was awful."

"I knew I could've never stayed on Asgard, so I asked Heimdall to take me to Midgard, or, Earth. Tony took me in when I was setting donuts on fire, the energy was different and my calm turned to power I couldn't control. He taught me in dark rooms, and we transitioned slowly. I thank Tony for that, but I will never say I love him."

"Your tears... purple, what does that mean?" Stephen asked, she stiffened.

Purple meant she was falling in love, again.
