Tony Stark had treated Kai like she was his daughter. He trained and exercised her power, and she even graduated school. Well, high school. Tony had convinced her there'd be no way she could leave with her state of unstability. You could say she was like Vision, with great power. But she didn't have power from a tiny stone, no, she got it from family. Just like Gamora, Thanos had wiped out half her planet. Her father-the king, had let her leave with several other children whom she never met.

She was twelve at the time.

Kai never complained when Tony pushed her, she didn't complain that she was the youngest Avenger until Peter came along, she didn't say a word when the Ultron mission worked her too hard. For she knew people on her planet had suffered worse.

"Okay, Kai. You can take a break." Tony said carefully, motioning for Happy to come down from the boxing ring. "Pepper and I are going for a run, you can stay or go out and be normal for once." He teased, but a frown appeared on his face and the girl slumped on the couch and grabbed her phone. "Who're you texting? You don't even have friends, you know what, fuck the run. Let's go get lunch." Tony wagered and smiled.

Kai looked up, biting down on the inside of her bottom lip, "Wanda. If you'd paid attention, they haven't checked in." Her sentence was short, and filled with attitude. "I found you on the street when you were thirteen don't you dare give me-" Tony started as Pepper walked in.

Pepper smiled softly and put a hand on Tony's shoulder, "She's stressed about her best friends, let's just go on the run. Yeah?" Pepper grabbed his hand and pulled him away.

"FUCK!" She screamed and threw her phone at the wall, the very expensive phone that Tony bought now had a large crack in it. Happy came it, panicking. "What was it?? A boy?? A girl?? Are we threatening people again??" He grabbed her phone from the floor and took off the protector. "We can fix it-"

"Happy, it's just Wanda and Vision." She waved it off, "Maybe you should go on a walk, the cafe down the street is cute. Or the mall, if you want new clothes." Happy listed places as he placed a new screen protector on the phone and handed it to her. "Maybe make a new friend,"

"You talked to me like this when I was fourteen!" Kai called and shut the door to her room. She showered and changed into leggings and a baggy sweater. When she came out, Happy smiled as she grabbed her dusty keys.

"Be home before six!"
