OK so here is Chapter 2!!
__________
I think that the hardest part of of leaving to go to New York is going to be telling Chace and Shay. They are probably going to try and tell me that going right now is crazy and that I should wait but I don't want to.

Next day
I was currently sitting on my bed with Shay, we had just finished picking out her outfit that she was going to wear on her date with Lucas tonight and I was about to tell her everything.
"Come on laina you can tell me" She said with a reassuring smile.
"Ok so this is what happened.."I started telling her everything. From how I found the folder in my moms closet to how I know for sure that this man is my father.
"Well thats great, I know you have always wondered who your father is and now you finally know" She replied giving me a hug.
"Shay there is one last thing I have to tell you"
"What else is there" She responded, looking worried.
"I um..well you see, this morning I purchased a train ticket to New York to go find and hopefully meet him, and don't go telling me it's crazy because I already know, but I need to do this" I answered hoping she would understand and not try to convince me to stay here.
"I understand I just wish you didn't have to go to a different state to do so. I am going to miss my bestie" She replied
Knowing that she understood I felt relief wash over me.
"Thanks for understanding" I said with a giant smile.
Ok so one person down, one to go. I have a feeling though that telling Chace won't be very easy.

Standing on the front porch of Chace's house I went and knocked on the door.
His house was a beautiful two story home with a modern design. I was obsessed with his house and wished it was my own.
"It's about time you got here" He said, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the house.
"So what's the plan for tonight" I said, walking into the living room to take a seat on the couch.
"Well I was thinking something along the lines of ordering pizza and watching a movie" he answered, taking a seat next to me.
"Sounds good to me, you order the food and I pick out the movie" I said, getting up from the couch to walk over to the T.V stand and pick a movie from his DVD collection. I laughed to myself when I saw the section of girly movies that I had convinced him to buy for me. That section consisted of movies like Mean Girls, Clueless, Revenge of the Bridesmaids and many more. He would always tell me his guy friends would joke around and say they were all his, which I thought was hilarious.
After about five minutes of looking and debating on what I wanted to watch I finally decided on White House Down.'
"So what did you pick" He asked as he hung up the phone.
"White House Down" I replied.
"Perfect but the pizza is gonna be like a 45 minute wait to be delivered" He said with a frown.
"Well I need to talk to you so that's good" I said, figuring I should go ahead and tell him.
"Okay then let's talk" He said leading me back to the couch to sit down.
"I'm leaving" I stated, which was probably not the best way to start off this conversation.
"What do you mean your leaving" He asked with an expression I couldn't quite read.
"I'm not leaving forever just long enough to go to New York and hopefully meet my father. Chace I really need to know who he is. I want to get to know my father and I am leaving in the morning" I answered, looking at him begging for him to understand that I need to do this. The only thing he did was take out his phone, but I wasn't sure what he was doing. We sat there in silence for about ten minutes when he finally broke it.
"You not going alone" He stated looking at me.
"Yes I am, I think I can travel on my own just fine" I replied getting frustrated.
"No your not, because I am going with you" He said as if it were obvious.
"No" I responded angrily.
"To bad because I just purchased a train ticket for tomorrow morning" He said holding up his phone to show that he indeed had already bought the ticket.
"Chace I'm not a child and I can do this on my own" I said raising my voice a bit. "Really, so you have a hotel room booked because you can't just think that your going to show up there and be welcomed into their house right away if you even find him" He said.
Now that he said that and I was thinking about it, he was right, I didn't even think to book a hotel room. I can't just expect my father to open his home to a complete stranger. Maybe Chace is right and I shouldn't go alone.
"You right I didn't think everything through and I guess you can come" I said, knowing that was probably the best thing.
"Good because if you went alone and something happened I would blame myself" At the same time the doorbell rang.
Two minutes later he walked in holding a large pizza and sat it on the coffee table.
"Since we are going to be leaving in the morning why don't you just stay here tonight and we can just stop by your place to grab your things before heading to the train station" He suggested.
"Yeah that sounds good" I replied with a smile.
"If you want, you can go upstairs and get a pair of my pajamas" He offered.
"Okay" I said and walked upstairs to his room and over to his dresser. I opened the top drawer and picked out an old college t-shirt of his and a pair of plaid pajama pants. Once I had finished changing I headed back downstairs and set beside him on the couch. I grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza from the box and hit play on the remote to start the movie. About two hours later the movie ended and we cleaned up the mess from the food. After everything was clean, we headed upstairs I went into the guest room and he headed to his room.
"Night laina" Chace said, before closing the door to his room.
"Night" I replied, closing the door to the guest room.
Since I was so tired as soon as I laid down I was asleep within seconds.
