Angle queen

In the begining

The sword pierced his stomach and through his wings.

"Hamon!" I yell pushing the demon off of me.

"Me...gan" he says collapsing to the ground.

     I run over and hold him crying. He lifts his hand slowly and strokes my face. He smiled a weak smile and kisses me one last time. His hand drops and his body goes limp.

"No wake up please wake up" I say shaking him.

    It felt like a part of me just died. I had never been so mad in my life. I stand up and reveal my wings. I take out my two swords that were enchanted to kill demons. I cut through the army of demons so fast that they all disappeared at the same time. It took about an hour for the Guardian Angel society to show up. I was cover in the blood of Hamon and the demons. I was sitting there in silence. The leader took Hamon out of my hands and his guards picked me up. We flew to the society's main operation building where they placed Hamon's body into the sacred waters.

"Megan I know that he was you first ever partner but you know that you will be assigned a new partner" The director says

"No I quite" I say

"What but why would you quite"

"Because I was out of control back there I killed the entire army within seconds I never want to be that low ever again"I say getting ready to jump off the building.

"What are you going to do Megan this institute is all you know" The director says

"Thats where you're wrong in my free time I worked at a restaurant and I have an apartment. So I think I have a hand on a normal life." I say jumping of the tall building.

    That happened a year and a half ago. Now I am a waitress at a restaurant called the bloody rose. I work the day shift. My manager knows about my past and she understands why I am on guard almost all the time. I live in a quiet apartment building and my neighbors are very nice. I have just finished my college degree. Everything about my life was pretty normal until November 27 my 21 birthday. I had to work that day like every other day.

"Hey Megan can you work the night shift one of our waitresses can't make it in tonight and we have a very important person coming into night." The Manager asks

"Yeah No problem Misty" I say as I set down the empty tray in the window to the kitchen.

"Good I will need you to change into this dress after this shift" She says holding up a black sleeveless dress "you didn't forget who we serve at night did you"

"No I know that we serve vampires"I say calmly. Hamon and I use to have to work with them on some of our jobs.

    After my day shift was over I went to the backroom and got changed into the dress Misty loaned me. I head out to the dining room where other girls were standing. I recognised some of them from the day shift.

"Megan..." One of the girls say approaching me

"Lilly" I say as she hugs me

"You finally got promoted to the night shift" Lilly says

"Oh no I am just filling in for someone" I say

"Really no one is missing... wait you must be the treat that everyone is talking about" She says

"Wait what... aww and on my 21st to" I say slouching my head

"It's your 21st that's great will this be your first time having a vampire biting you?"she asks

"No my last job had me dealing with Vampires" I say

"Really how old were you when you first got bitten" She asks looking at my neck for scars
