To Him

I enjoy the evenings that I lie

Sipping my tea and looking at the sky

Deciphering the clouds in my mind

Wishing the world could be this kind

Hard to bend, impossible to guess

It's not really hard to say that yes

I enjoy the evenings that I could lie

Sipping my tea and looking at the sky

I think about him and his savory brown eyes

And the way he acts and the way he tries

Hard to bend, impossible to guess

It's not really hard to say that "yes"

I miss the time we had spent together

To spend our days Not talking about the weather

I think about him and his savory brown eyes

And the way he acts and the way he tries

To me our time was short, shorter than most

So to you my friend I give this solemn toast

I miss the time we had spent to together

To spend our days Not talking about the weather

So my sparkling grey eyes and my ruby red cheeks

Are a constant reminder of that which my heart seeks

To me our time was short, shorter than most

So to you my friend I give this solemn toast

Hey, an author on wattpad had this challenge that she did and asked her readers to try it so I did. This poem is AABB pattern,  with the first two lines in the stanza being the last two lines in the next stanza.I had fun doing this!Check the author that recommended this out at PixieFairy356, she's good.
