<<<DREW TO THE SIDE PLAYED BY LUCKY BLUE SMITH WHO IS MY LOVEEE>>>
"Behold the glory of the Wentworth cafeteria," Lee announced with sarcasm in her voice.
It was super crowded. There were so many people and all the tables seemed full.
"Come with me and get food!" Lee motioned to the lunch line.
"Isn't school lunch supposed to be disgusting?" I asked incredulously.
She replied, "Wentworth has school lunch that's alright, but we also get catering. I promise you the food is amazing."
I shrugged, "Alright. I don't have any food with me anyways."
Lee grabbed my hand and pulled me through the crowds, and her grip was super tight. As soon as we got to the front of the line, we started to grab the stuff we wanted. I got a chicken pesto panini with some chips and Lee ordered a salad with some fruit. Right when we received our food we were shoved out of the line.
"Geez, these people are so forceful. What happened to 'excuse me' and 'pardon'?" I muttered to Lee.
Lee replied with a giggle and I shook my head softly. Seemed like everybody at Wentworth always laughed at me when I was serious, and it was starting to highly get annoying. However, I gave an exception to Lee, seeing as how she was my only friend.
"Hey! Capri, sit with me. My brother might sit with us and maybe some of his friends." Lee smiled at me.
I obviously had no choice but to follow. We walked down a hallway and out a door to a small courtyard. I saw Drew sitting on a table with some boys sitting next to him. I swear there were so many males in this school.
As soon as Drew saw us, he leaped up on the table and yelled, "Greetings sister and friend!"
Lee rolled her eyes at Drew, and I giggled a little bit. I was a little disgusted by the giggle that escaped my mouth. It was way to feminine. As Lee and I walked closer to the two tables, Lee groaned.
She looked at me and explained, "See that boy sitting next to Drew?" I nodded.
"That's Ryan Jones. My ex and the reason why all my old friends hated me. Ugh, this is going to be so awkward."
I pat her on the shoulder and secretly felt relieved. I wasn't going to be the only awkward one around here. Lee and I sat down next to Drew. The boy named Ryan sat across from Lee, and I noticed Lee purposely averting her gaze everytime Ryan glanced at her. Luckily, and unfortunately for us, Drew broke the ice and chatted normally. I admired how outgoing he was and I was glad he was here.
"Hey Capri, think fast!" He grinned.
I turned in his direction, and he threw a piece of bread at me. I frowned as it hit me in the face. On a second note, I wasn't so glad.
"Whoops! Sorry Capri! Thought you'd catch it!" Drew smirked.
In my calmest voice, I replied, "Drew. I would sleep with one eye open tonight."
Drew started to laugh, and then stopped once he noticed I wasn't laughing with him.
Then I forced a grin and responded in the fakest and chirpiest voice I could muster. "Just kidding!"
Everybody laughed at Drew, and for once, I felt like I could socialize normally.
"Not funny, Capri. I thought I was going to end up in a body bag tonight, for real." Drew complained.
I bit my panini and answered, "Who said you weren't?"
Lee giggled with me. There was way too much giggling coming out of my mouth today. I felt nauseated.
