-part 1. meeting him-

"First day at school honey. Exited?" Auntie Cathryn said whilst spreading Nutella onto a piece of toast.
"I guess." Y/N took a spoonful of Cheerios and dumped them into her mouth. She ate them.
"Let's hope you don't get picked on or anything." Cathryn said.
"She will." Teigan said from across the table. Oh yeah, one more thing. I was forced to live with my disgusting cousin. She was 14. "When Betty Carron joined our school, she got beat to a pulp." Teigan said. I stared at her. She pulled a face at me.
"Well, Y/N is nothing like Betty. You girls have to go in 10 minutes, so finish your breakfast and meet me in the car." Aunt Cathryn walked off.
"You will get beaten up today, faceache." Teigan walked off, with Cathryn.
'I'll kill her.' Y/N thought. But then she regretted that though. 'I'll kill a kid in my year instead.'

It was lunchtime at school. Y/N held onto her lunch tray. She looked around. She spotted a boy alone. He had headphones on. She walked up to him. The boy took his headphones off.
"Hi." He said a little quietly.
"Hey." Y/N sat next to him.
Then another girl walked up to him.
"Hey." He said
"I've seen you skate." The girl said. The boy stayed silent. "You're pretty shit."
"F- Fuck off." The boy said. The girl walked off. There was a silence between them for a second.
"I'm James." The boy put his hand out for her to shake.
"Y/N." Y/N took James' hand and shook it.
"Do you want to hang out after school?" James asked.
"Okay." Y/N said.
