Chapter six: My Demon

We're at the entrance gates, well actually we are on the wall connected to the manor gates, faster than..well anything. I couldn't open my eyes while he was running, it was like my mind couldn't process it without my other half. I can still feel Ciels annoyance over the suitcase comment which makes me smile happily.

"Is there something amusing you?" Ciel's almost harsh tone asks as he jumps down the other side of the wall neatly. It only took him a few seconds later to catch up with us. I contemplate saying 'yes, your face amuses me.' but I may not live to see another day..

"Nothing you would like." I reply honestly with a innocent smile. He stares a 'I really want to kill you right now but it would mean a mess.' look then scoffs shaking his head, heading towards the manor. It's good to be back, my eyes follow him but my smile falters as I think of what might come to pass soon. How is all of this going to work out? I shake my head slightly, catching the attention of Sebastian as he jumps gracefully down onto the gravel, with no sound..demons are weird.

"I'm fine Sebastian." Cutting in with a quick smile before he has a chance. He raises an eyebrow while he walks quickly but calm, caching up with Ciel with ease.

"I did not say anything." My shoulders lift and fall.

"Thought you were. Can't be too careful." Wait a moment, I don't need to be carried here!! I'm not some damsel in distress I have my own two legs, use them! I scold myself mentally.

"Sebastian put me down please!" Shifting to see if I can get down myself but with little luck..go figure. The manor doors open and Finny, Bard and MeyRin come running out at high speed towards me.

"MISS ALEX!!! YOU'RE BACK, YES YOU ARE!" Meyrin squealed.

"How have ya been?!" Bard grins.

"Miss Alex!! We've missed yoouu!!" Finny basically yells as they all run at me. I stare at them and stop trying to get down, almost the opposite in fact.

"Hey Sebastian, on second thought, don't put me down!" They crowd around me and Sebastian firing questions left right and centre.

"How are you?"

"Did you get here safely?"

"Where did you end up?"

"Did you miss us??"

I try to stop them but though they are asking me questions my voice seemed to go straight over their heads. They suddenly all stop and take a step back with worried faces like they had just seen a ghost.

"Hu? You guys ok?" I follow their gaze to Sebasti-What The Heck?! I nearly jump out of his arms, his face screams 'I will kill all of you and smile while I do it' whilst staring at them. Being this close even I shrink back a bit, well as much as I can being stuck in his arms. Which trust me is nowhere near as fun as it may sound.

"Well then, now you lot have quietened down, let's get inside." Ciel's voice came from behind them, they quickly spin around nodding and briskly walking inside. Sebastian follows up behind and I see from the corner of my eye Ciel smiling at me.

"Don't tell me you were afraid then?" He asks with a tease. Crossing my arms while Sebastian sets me down on my feet now we're inside.

"Yes it took me by surprise. Now if you'll excuse me, I have questions to answer." Talking sweetly before trying to swiftly move towards the others to escape through questions being asked like a Gatling gun being fired. No such luck..a hand lands on my left shoulder, I don't need to see to know it's Sebastian. Apart from the fact I'm not sure Ciel would even be tall enough but the worried expressions on the others faces give it away.
