Chapter 8

Once they got on the road towards the store Natalie said "By the way I'm half british I was born here Peggy used a sperm donor to have me. I'm not full like her." 

"Oh well still I love when your accent comes out doll. Especially when you are dressed like this." He said to her as he kissed her knuckles. 

"My mom was right about you though. You are definitely cute." She said as she looked over at him

He smiled and said "Aww darlin you are so sweet." 

Natalie started to look out the window she was just confused by how this is happening. He wasn't suppose to be here with her a guy that she heard stories about all her life a guy she saw pictures of and thought he was so cute. She use to wish for a guy like him or Steve a guy that would treat her like her mom told her a guy is suppose to treat her. She wiped some tears as she thought about how she wished she had waited she's only been with one person but knowing that she could have possibly been someone that would treat her like a princess breaks her heart.

Bucky seen her crying and said "Hey doll what's wrong?" 

She wiped the tears away quickly and said "It's nothing." 

He pulled the car over and said "Hey talk to me." 

"It's nothing James. It's just something to do with me that's all." she said

He wiped some tears away. "Doll baby I don't like when you cry. Especially when you won't tell me why you are crying." 

She let out a laugh and said "I was just thinking about stuff that's all." 

"What kind of stuff?" He said as he started to pull back onto the road

"um I was just thinking about how I wish I had waited. I have only ever been with one person sexually James." She whispered 

"Oh darlin. You don't have to explain anything to me." as he squeezed the stirring wheel he looked over at her and added " Doll it's ok." 

She whispered "ok" 

They got to the store and she put like 3 bottles of wine in the cart. Then she said "Are you going to cook or am I cooking?" He said "We are both cooking you are going to help me make dinner." 

"OH am I ?" She said with a smile 

He said "oh yes you are Miss Carter." 

"Can I make a dessert." she said 

He leaned down in her ear and said "I love your desserts." His beard tickled her neck and she started to giggle. 

"Oh doll what is so funny?" He said to her as he put something in the cart

"Your beard tickles." She said 

"mmm that's a good thing then." He said as they continued shopping. 

She got stuff to make a pie and then helped him get what he needed to make her favorite food besides pizza and brownies and that is Chicken Alfredo and breadsticks. Then he said "Doll if I was to get you flowers what kind would you like?"

"Hmm....let's see I really really like white roses." She said to him with a big smile

What Natalie didn't know was Bucky had two plans for tonight. He wanted a romantic dinner with her that's why he suggested them to cook together and then they were going to talk it all out and he was hoping that he was going to get it together for him to kiss her. After that he wanted to dance with her in her red dress so he had Steve and Natasha set up the living room into a dance hall complete with candles and flowers. He asked Steve and Natasha to join them when they dance. Bucky just wanted to be with her but he had to get out of his head long enough to do what he needed to do. 

After the store they got home and ate lunch. Then after lunch he went with her to the gym and she walked on the treadmill for about an hour just trying to get her knee use to being in motion again. She was in pain by the end of it but it was what she wanted to do. Then she did some shooting range and some rounds with the punching bag. After she got in some light training she headed upstairs to take a shower she shaved her legs and other areas now that she was able to take a shower without someone holding her hand. When she got out of the shower she saw her red dress with the polka dots hanging on the back of her bathroom door. 

She smiled and said "oh James what are you up to tonight?" 

She went into her room and found her slip and put it on and then pulled her dress on. She blow dryed her hair out and then curled it up like she's been wearing it. She put on some make up and completed it like always with her red lipstick. She put her necklace back on that had the letter C on it and her diamond stud earrings. Then she slipped on her red babydoll pumps and said "Oh mama He's amazing just like you always said he was." 

Bucky was in the kitchen already dressed for their dinner. He said "Hey doll I need your help where are you?" 

"Im right here darling." She said as she came into the kitchen

He swallowed hard and said "God doll you look gorgeous." 

She bit her lip as she blushed hard.
