Falling For Another Carter

Chapter 10

The next morning as bad as her knee was hurting Natalie got up and pulled on her training clothes and braided her hair into two braids and pulled on her gloves. She got on the elevator and said "Take me to training Friday." She walked in the room and saw the team standing around the mat and Barnes landed his eyes on her said "My Carter is ready to kick ass." 

"Natasha I want to warm up with you." She said 

"Alright little Carter let's see what you can do." She said 

Natasha went throw a punch and Natalie blocked and did a high kick with her bad knee. Then Natasha said "That's my girl let's go baby." Natalie threw a punch and then a high kick again then did a back flip away from Natasha. Then saw Barton out of the corner of her eye ready to throw a punch and said "Oh Barton you know I have great side vision." as she threw a punch and then he said "Oh Darlin I know how good you are let's show them." Then she threw another punch and then blocked his punch and made him do a flip on to the ground  and he said "Oh there is Carter." 

Bucky was standing with Steve and said "Damn she is good." as she slide in between Natasha's legs and pretended that she shot Natasha. Then it was Wanda next she blocked her repeatedly then said "Hey Steve get you shield ready for me" as she sideswiped Wanda's legs and made her fall as she ran towards Steve and did a jump off his shield as she did a flip in the air and pulled Sam down in the process. She landed on her bad knee when she did but she got up and said "Don't baby me I'm fine." 

After she almost taken down most of the team all that was left was Bucky and Steve. They were standing beside each other and Bucky said "Which one goes first doll?"

"You my handsome boyfriend of course." she said with a smile "It's time you learn about your girlfriend baby." 

She got into her sparring positition and fidgeting her fingers. He went to punch and she grabbed his hand and flipped him and said "Oh that how we are going to play Doll let's go baby." 

He went to throw another one and she slide in between his legs before he could turn around she pulled a move he knew so well because Natasha. She ran and jumped on to his shoulders. "Oh I know this move." Then he made her flip and landed her on the mat and pinned her down and said "What are you going to do now babydoll." 

"Come on Carter don't fall for the blue puppy dog eyes " Nat said to her 

Natalie lifted her legs and wrapped them around his waist and made the roll and held her fist back and said "That babydoll." she winked at him and then did a backflip off of him. 

"That's my girl." Natasha said 

"I would also have my knife too baby." She said to him as she started limp off and he said "Doll." She squatted down and fighting back tears as her knee was hurting and he ran to her and said "Doll baby you pushing to hard." She went to lay down on the mat and cried " James I want to do this so bad. I need to get back to me." 

"Hey doll look at me you will get back to you. But you can't push yourself baby." He said as he wiped tears. He helped her up and in the first aid room and got some ice and laid it on her knee as she cried. "No more combos and gymnastics til this is better Natalie. You can train with us but you will not do what you just did out there again till it was better." Steve said 

She threw the ice in the floor and got up and left the training room. Slamming doors along the way and went to her room and cried. Bucky looked at Steve and said "You just pushed her even more you know that right. She's going to be pissed that you are pushing her to the side again Steve. She's trying so hard you don't understand what Sharon says to her. Sharon makes her feel like shit telling her that she is letting Peggy down. That now Natalie feels like she is letting everyone down cause Peggy gets thrown in her face." 

"Buck you and I both know she needs to get better." Steve said

"Yes she does but how is she ever going to get better when everyone doubts her or makes her feel like shit for doing something that she wants so desperately wants back. She wants back on the field she's tired of being in this compound." Bucky said to Steve as he walked out.

Nat was standing at the door way. "Am I wrong Nat?" Steve said 

"She's never going to be Natalie if we don't let her try. Or you can continue to be the bad guy to her. She landed almost every flip perfectly except the one where she landed on the wrong leg when she took Sam down. She was almost flawless out there and I'm sure flipping Barnes over probably didn't help either but she was Natalie out there today. You coming in here and yelling at her and telling her she can't do full Natalie Carter till her knee gets better doesn't help her none." Natasha said 

Bucky got up to his suite that he shares with Natalie he heard her crying in their room. He hugged her and said "Oh doll it's ok it's ok. Let me see it." He lifted her leg and started to massage her knee "Why? I'm damn good at my job and for the last 3 months I haven't been able to do anything. The last time I was actually on a quinjet was when I came with Steve to get you." 

Bucky pulled out his phone and said "Hey Shuri if I brought Natalie down to Wakanda do you think that you could take a look at her knee. Just to make sure that nothing is broken I mean she still has trouble walking on it somewhat and her physical therapist took her crutches even though she's not fully able to walk on it without a brace. Great we will be there soon." 

He looked at Natalie and said "Get dressed and pack a bag doll we are going to Wakanda." 

He found her ace bandage and brace and put it all on her knee. She went into her room and packed a bag and pulled on t shirt and hoodie. Then met Bucky in the living room and he took her stuff with his and said "Let's go baby I will take care of you since no one else will." 

They got to the garage and he said"Which one is yours or one you like the most?" She pointed to which one is the one she used the most on missions. They boarded it and Steve came in the garage and said "Where are you two going?" 

"Im taking her to see Shuri." Bucky said 

As he said "Hey FRIDAY open the ceiling." and then said "I'm going to get my girl some help." 

Then he put the coordinates in and him and Natalie took off for Wakanda. Natasha walked into the garage and said "Did Natalie just leave with a jet?" 

"Yeah her and Barnes just took off for Wakanda apparently Shuri said she could help Natalie." Steve said to her as he walked off.
