Laxus and Jadda walked to where the ball was being held at Sabretooth.
Outside of the door, standing and waiting ever so patiently for Jadda to arrive.
"Rogue!" Jadda squealed running into her boyfriend's arms, he quickly scooped her up and spun her around gently. She felt like a princess.
"Ahem, I'm standing right here you two." Laxus said, protectively pulling Jadda away from the shadow dragon slayer.
"Yeah, yeah, you can go now, I'm staying with Rogue all night." Jadda said shooing her older brother away.
Laxus looked down sadly, bewildered that his own sister would treat him so poorly. Did he not suffer enough already from his father's abandonment when he was a teen.
"Yeah, okay, sorry J." Laxus mumbled as he walked into Sabretooth.
Strangely Y/n and Gajeel were already there even though they left after Laxus.
"Laxy!" Y/n squealed running up to her big brother giving him a huge hug. Laxus happily hugged her back, picking her up then set her right back down.
Gajeel gave him a nod of acknowledgment, Laxus gave him one back. Y/n broke away from her brother and took Gajeel's hand in her giving him a tiny nudge.
"Um... I know at first we didn't get off on the right foot, but I hope we can put that behind us. I love Y/n and I hope and ask for your permission to be with your little sister." Gajeel said to Laxus holding onto Y/n, fearful that it could be the last time he did so.
"I'll allow it, but hear this Blacksteel, you hurt her in anyway, its your balls that will be cut off." Laxus said, this threat more terrifying than his last.
"Yes sir." Gajeel gulped but sighed in relief.
Y/n gave Laxus a kiss on the cheek then went to dance, Laxus stood watching his baby sister who was all grown up now.
Freed came up and pat the lightning dragon slayer on the back.
"Don't worry Laxus, no matter what, she'll always be your sister." Freed said.
"Yeah, I know, its still hard, I practically raised her myself." Laxus said sadly looking down.
"Come on, lets get a drink, I'm sure Orga will be glad to see you again.
"Yeah, okay, c'mon." Laxus said taking the green haired mans hand and walked towards the bar.

"You know Jadda, you shouldn't be that mean to your brother, he's just worried for you, to him, I'm just a guy trying to take away his baby sister." Rogue said bringing her into the guild.
"Yeah well I'm not a baby no more, he's gotta let me grow up someday, and today seems like a good day for it." Jadda sighed, as the two began to dance.
