Today was the day of the ball, Jadda was getting ready in her room when Y/n flew into the room through the window in her Wind Goddess form.

"I'm excited, I cant wait for today." Y/n giggled as she landed on the floor face first.

"I am too, I just wished you didn't abandon me last night, and where those damn keys are, now get your damn ass on this chair so I can do your hair and makeup." Jadda said.

"Sorry bout that, and don't worry about the keys, Laxus probably has them." Y/n said.

"I asked him, but he said he didn't, usually they would come back to me, but this time they didn't, and with all 24 of our keys on that ring, its being weighed down." Jadda said a little panicked as she stood behind her sister to finish up the braided bun in her hair.

"We have a problem then, cause all I have is Ying and he's not strong enough to fight yet, we're still training." Y/n said turning to look at her sister so she could do Y/n's makeup.

A knock came to the door Jadda walked over to it and opened it, Laxus stood there in a suit and tie, with flowers in his hands.

"Well don't you just look spiffy." Jadda joked with her brother as she let him into the room, Laxus walked in, gave Jadda a kiss on the cheek, then went over to Y/n and gave her a kiss as well, then he handed the twins each a bouquet of flowers.

"Awe Laxy, you're so sweet." Y/n gushed at her older brother.

"Yeah, yeah, don't mention i- *sniff, sniff*." Laxus' smile faded and his head snapped towards Y/n now that he wasn't holding the flowers the scent coming from Y/n was all up in his nose.

"Why do you smell like Blacksteel?!" Laxus growled.

"Well we're almost done, so you'll just have to sit on the bed till then." Jadda explained trying to save her sister's neck, she went back over to finish Y/n's makeup when another knock came to the door again.

Laxus turned and opened the door only to find Gajeel standing in front of the door with Pantherlily on his shoulder.

"What are you doing here?" Laxus asked growling.

"I was coming to pick up Y/n to go to the ball." Gajeel said nervously.

"Oh, come on in Gaj, I'm almost done." Y/n said as she threw on her red and black strapless tango dress and Jadda her black and white poofy ball gown, Jadda wore her signature high heeled boots, and Y/n her signature sole less foot jewelry.

"I'm all ready, come on Gaj, lets go party!" Y/n exclaimed but before she got very far Laxus grabbed her by the tail, she yelped out in pain.

"Ow, you know that's sensitive, why did you pull my tail." Y/n cried, a few tears spilling out her blue eyes.

"I'm sorry pup, but I have to lay down some rules before you go out." Laxus said crossing his arms glaring at Gajeel.

"Be back right after the ball is done, if you do anything my sister doesn't like... You're... Dead. Have fun." Laxus smirked walking out of the room with Jadda.

"Yeah thanks 'dad'." Y/n mumbled rolling her eyes as she also left with Gajeel to the ball.
