As soon as I woke up the next day, I rang Josh. I needed to know if he remembered anything about that night. I needed answers and as much as I hated to admit it, Ryan had some of those. I really don't want to talk to him yet so I'll find ut as much as I can from Josh and my brothers.
'Hey, 'lil sis. You okay? Sorry we couldn't come by yesterday, we were at Mom and Dad's grave' I could hear the sympathy in his voice.
'Hey, Josh. Yeah it's fine. I just need to ask you something' I really wanted to just get to the point and so that is what I did.
'Sure, shoot'
'Do you remember Mom and Dad's 20th wedding anniversary?'
'Yeah....'
'Do you remember when Mom said to a new beginning?'
'Yeah....'
'What did she mean?'
I could hear him sigh loudly on the other line. So he did know?
'Look sis'. I'll be 'roubd to see you later. I'll explain everything then' he sounded so tense it was frightening.
'Okay....Is it serious?' I asked worriedly. What had Mom and Dad done?
'Kinda. Just wait til I get there. I'll be an hour tops. Love you, Andy' He hung up without waiting for a response.
I looked to the opposite side of my room with a sigh. Jace was no longer sitting there but in his place was the one and only Ryan.
'What the hell are you doing here?!' I shouted, more like roared, at him. Honestly he scared me so bad.
'Watching you' he winked at me and returned to scrolling on hs phone.
''Cause that isn't pervy at all' My face turned the colour of a tomato.
'Donb't think it's by choice, Babe' he winked at me again.
'Dude, you got an eye twitch there?' I asked sarcastically.
'Nope. But I do have arm spasms. So you know shut up' I quickly shut my mouth and waited patiently for Josh to arrive.
