Haii guys :D so I've decided to carry on this story a little but I'm not sure if I'll finish it or if ill even update much :'( if you guys have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated :D Thank youu xo
I have been waiting in this awfully uncomfortable hospitable bed for over four hours now, patiently waiting for Josh to arrive. I had begun to get agitated by now. What of he wasn't coming ? What if the news he has is so bad that he doesn't want to reveal it to me ?
I stumbled out of bed and made my way to my rooms door. Opening the heavy duty door was a challenge and very painful. By the time I opened the door every rib in my entire body felt like a hundred knives being stabbed into my chest, and all my bones felt as if they would break. I pushed the pain aside and stumbled down the corridor towards the nurses station.
But I didn't stop there and talk to any of the kind nurses, I kept walking to the exit of my ward. Pressing the elevator button with my bruised right hand, I heard the elevator ding. Looking above the elevator I saw that the elevator was indeed on my floor. It opened with a smooth and quick manner. Out came two people who seemed to be a couple. They looked to be around in their early twenties. They were holding hands and looked to be perfect. Giving them a quick nod, I stepped into the metal cage. The doors then closed making me feel claustrophobic.
The sound of the doors opening and the natutal light coming through was like heaven. I could see the exit and I made my way to it briskly. With ever step a shot of pain would fill both my sides. But I didn't stop, I called a taxi over and jumped into the back seat.
"Where to ?" the taxi man looked to be in around his forties. He had slightly greying hair and a thick beard covering half his face. He also had a bulky cigarette in his mouth, inhaling smoke and then exhaling.
"21 long Grove, please" my voice was croaking and slightly shaking. My hands trembled and shook with intensity, a side effect of the pills I had been given.
"No problem" for the rest of the ride home I kept quiet looking out at the scenery, praying that Josh would be home and tell me what happened that dreadful night.
