they had reached the denbrough household, and they were all in the garage while bill was getting ready to start up yhe projector to show them the old derry map and where georgie may be at. it had already been set up, because zack and sharon (bill and georgie's parents) weren't home and were on a business trip for a week.

on the left side of bill was richie, y/n, mike, jessie, and eddie. richie was on y/n's right, eddie to her left, and mike and jessie behind them. on the right side of bill was beverly and ben sitting next to eachother. bill stood in the middle of all of them, then started the projector.

they were all looking at the map ahead of them, then bill turned on the projector.

"on the projector, i mapped out everywhere where 'it' happens." bill started. "and it all connects to the sewer. it ends up-" he said, then stan cut him off.

"at the house on neilbolt street" stan said, a bit quietly and nervous. eddie nervously took a puff from his inhaler, then stood up, went to the wall, and tore off the map.

"the hell, eddie! put it back!" bill said. eddie just shook his head and let out a 'nuh-uh' as he held the map, breathing heavily.

all of a sudden, the projector goes off, then puts a picture on the screen, then quickly goes through as a slideshow, picking up a bit more speed picture-after-picture.

"what the hell is going on?!" y/n yelled as she stood up, richie doing the same.

"turn it off" beverly yelled.

"we're trying!!!" mike yelled as him and bill tried to stop it. the pictures went through, showing images of kay's hair all in front of her face and moving ever so slightly as each picture frame went by.

by now, everyone was standing up, trying to stop it. the last picture had a clowns features instead of kay's features. mike kicked over the projector, making it go off.

"finally" y/n said, a bit shaky as she stood next to richie.

the garage was pitch black, then when all of a sudden, a clown started to pop out of the wall. everyone started screaming and backing away. y/n and beverly got scooter back to the corner, screeching as the creepy killer clown inched closer and closer to them. beverly and y/n grabbed each other's hand and squeezed tightly as they hid their faces away from 'it'.

everyone was screaming for what felt like an eternity, they had finally gotten the garage door opened, and the clown disappeared into thin air. y/n turned her head around slowly to see the light. she got up and helped beverly, then hugged her. after beverly and y/n split away from their hug, y/n went to hug stan, and then eddie, shakily and breathing heavily. then after y/n thanked eddie then went to hug richie for longer than she hugged anyone else. she followed his breathing pattern to calm her breathing and heart rate.

"thank you, guys" y/n said as she pulled away from richie. richie gave her a small, sweet smile.

"w-w-we have t-t-t-to g-go to the-the-the nei-neilbolt-neilbolt house." bill stuttered as he went out to his bike.

"what the fuck do you mean 'we have to go to the neilbolt house?!' y/n and beverly just nearly got killed!" richie complained as he watched bill.

"he's right. besides, it's summer! we should be having fun! and not chasing some killer clown!!" eddie argued.

"if you-you say it's s-s-summer one m-more fu-fucking time" bill said, stuttering, of course.
