"Hey, your phone is blowing up with texts, do you maybe wanna answer them?" Taeyong yawned, handing me my phone, tiredly, sitting down on top of the kitchen counter. I checked who kept texting me, and a airy laugh escaped my lips. I tossed my phone next to him, continuing the breakfast I was making."Can I read the texts?" He smiled. I shrugged, and within seconds he picked up the phone and read every single message Joshua has sent. He then quietly started typing.
"You aren't talking to him right?" I warn, an angry glare settling on him. He shook his head.
He then shut off my phone and placed it back down next to me. "Can you please get me the plates?" I ask, shyly.
"Sure, why?" He laughs, hopping of the counter, and sauntering to the cabinet next to me.
"I couldn't reach it." I mumble. He laughs, wholeheartedly, and within seconds I frown. He laughs, wrapping his arms around my waist, and hugging me tight. He continues to giggle, walking off to the stools. I quietly fill the dishes up, with eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Quietly, placing forks and knives at the table, along with napkins, he kept staring at me, as if he was admiring me. Quickly I grab the plates, and set them down in front of the both of us.
"Thank you, this looks really good." He smiles. "Thank you, it's honestly really the only thing I can cook," I mumble. "Your mom never taught you?"
"Well, she was a nurse, so I can't really blame her since she was never home." I nod.
"If it makes you feel better, I can help you." He smiles. A warm smile etched across my face. I nodded happily, a pleasant smile playing on his beautiful pink lips.
I quietly got up, to get a glass of water, but with my luck, it was in the tallest cupboard. I heaved a sigh, climbing onto the counter top. I opened up the door to the cupboard, grabbing two cups, and closing the door. Trying to get down safely, I lost my balance, and fell backwards.
I let out a small gasp, but in seconds, I was caught in strong arms. I let out a breath of relief, our eyes locking. "Next time just ask me to get it, shorty. You gave me a heart attack." He heaved a sigh, setting me down. I nodded shyly, walking back to the table.
He joined me at the table, quickly holding my hand over the table. "I'm sorry I sounded so strict. You just scared me, and I don't want you getting hurt all over again." He sighs.
"I understand." I smile.
"Oh my goodness, can you please go back to being an asshole? This cheerful personality is great and all, but I miss my Nolan."
I let out a sarcastic laugh. "Yeah, Okay, you bitch." I rolled my eyes.
A pleasant smile appeared on his face.
"I hate you."
"Bet."
