This chapter is in Chris's POV. enjoy :) <3

Something's not right, not at all. I felt a longing sense in my gut that I only felt with my brother. This isn't good. The last time I felt this way it was right before he killed himself. Only, I didn't think it was anything major until I got the call that he was dead.

I called Legacy right as I walked to the bathroom. No answer. Something's definitely not right at all. I shoved my phone in my pocket and ran home. I ran faster then I've ever run before. I rushed in the orphaned and my heart started pounding like a bunch hummingbirds feathers. I pushed Ms. Blaze out of the way and kicked the doorknob. I keep kicking the door until I saw cracks forming. I kicked the door one last time and it flew open hitting the wall behind it. I saw the bathroom door open and her arm dangling out of the bathtub. Blood dripped to the floor.

I screamed, "Call an ambulance!" as I lifted her back up. Her arms were aligned with cuts. I pulled my shirt off ripped it down the middle. I took the halves and tied each around her upper arms to slow the bleeding.

"Baby please! Don't leave. Stay with me! You're all I have." I cried.

She lifted her limp arm and touched my cheek smearing it in blood.

"Chris." She croaked out.

" I love you." She spoke.

"I love you more then you can imagine. Please stay. Just keep talking. Don't go to sleep, you'll never wake up." I sobbed.

"I was never meant to stay." She quaked. I sobbed even harder as paramedics rushed in. They lifted her and whisked her away. Ms. Blaze screamed and sobbed.

"No!" she wept and fell to the ground. I rushed to the doors of the ambulance. A young man who looked like he was about in his late twenties stopped me.

"Family only." He commanded.

"I'm her older brother." I lied. He looked at me reluctantly and let me in. I grabbed her hand and looked at her. She had a mask on her and her arms were still bleeding. A woman began to cover her arms to stop the bleeding and wiped them. She wiped tears from her eyes.

"Scott. It's the same girl from before. Only, this time, she is here because of what she has done. I hope we don't lose her this time." She trembled.

This time? I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. She brushed the hair out of her face and I grabbed Legacy's hand. Her hand felt clammy in mine. Her skin-looked paler then normal and she looked as if someone applied the smallest amount of pressure she's crack. She reminded me of my grandmother's porcelain doll collection. She looked even more fragile then normal. I should have stopped her.

The ambulance pulled into the hospital parking lot and the doors swung open. They rushed her out and into a surgery room. The woman from the ambulance stopped me and gave a sad smile.

"You can't go in there but you can sit in the waiting room and I'll send someone to come get you when you can see her. Would her caretaker happen to be here?" she asked.

I looked around and sighed. I was about to shake my head no but then felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Yes, I'm her caretaker. My name is Kristen Blaze. She is a part of my orphanage. I came as fast as I could." She said frantically.

"Okay Ms. Blaze, would you mind signing these forms so that we can do all we can to help her? I fear she may need surgery. She's had major blood loss but no fear, she's been here many times before and we just happen to have her blood type on hand." The nurse requested.

"Yes, I'll sign whatever you need me to as long as you can save my child!" Ms. Blaze exclaimed.

"Please calm down or they will escort you out. Here are the forms. Please sign these as soon as possible. When you are done give them to the front desk and have a seat in the waiting area." The nurse instructed handing Ms. Blaze a clipboard with forms attached to it and a pen. She took them and scribbled her name wherever it sign here. She then rushed to the front desk and handed it to the women.
