click! I pull on bike lock to make sure it won't unlock. It doesn't. I grab my bag from where it rests at my feet and sling it over my shoulder. I walk up the steps of my new 'forever' school. It's a big school, but it looks like every other school in America.

There are a total of six doors on the front, I take the one all the way to the right, it'll draw less attention. The halls are full of people. I can clearly see the social gaps. To my right are the jocks, giving each other high fives and chest bumps. There are the nerds, with their text books and other stuff (now, you might think of nerds wearing plaid and overalls and glasses with tape, but they're dressed just like any normal teenager, they're actually pretty hot.) to my right are the stoners (which you can visibly see) and the campus bitches, the mean girls, the girls that I would like to avoid. The head cheerleader locks eyes with me and gives my the stink eye. I plaster the biggest grin on my face I can, wave at her and wink.

Her face became even more stinkier, I couldn't help but laugh. I kept walking, but the girl grabbed my arm. "Who are you, bitch?!" She screeched, making everyone turn toward us.

"Uh, my name isn't bitch, bitch." I say, giving her a death glare. She gasped, shoving me away like I was trash.

"You don't call me bitch, you fucking bitch!" She screamed, a crowd had started to gather around us. I started to back away slowly, but she saw me.

"You can't back away from me!" She yelled, I could literally see the steam coming off her head. She grabbed my shirt and winded up her arm to slap me.

"Woah dude, hold up! I've been here for a total of five seconds! Can't we work something out?!" I'm screaming now over the sound of everyone else yelling.

"Hey! Samantha! We can work this out! Give the girl a break, like she said, she's been here five seconds." A voice says somewhere behind me, it comes out louder than all the rest. That voice seems... Familiar.

"Fine, you got off easy this time, you better thank lover boy here for saving your ass." Samantha shoves me back so I hit the familiar boy and we go tumbling to the floor.

He grunts and I scramble to get off of him. "Gods of Egypt! I'm so so so sorry! Are you ok?!" I'm rambling on about how it was all my fault, avoiding looking at him until I hear laughing. It starts out quiet and gets louder, I turn around to make sure he's ok, he obviously isn't.

I stare down at, guess who! Alex. He's flipped over on his stomach and laughing so hard that his feet are going. He's covering his mouth to muffle the sounds.

"Yo Alex! You alright bro?" Someone yells from the other end of the hall. I turn around to see that kid Thomas that punched me in the boob.

"You!" I accuse him with out saying, really, anything.

"Hey I know you." His face turns bright red. I suppress a laugh.

"I don't think Alex is ok, he's spazzing out on the floor." I say making a gesture in Alex's direction.

"I am not!" he yells up from the floor, his face purple from lack of air.

"Anyway... Can you guys show me where the office is? Cause I need my schedule before the school day starts." I ask, we have five minutes left before first period starts.

"Yeah, sure, come with us my lady!" Alex, now off the floor, was saying. He looped his arm through mine and waited for Thomas to do the same thing on my other side. We skipped down the halls (literally skipped) to the main office.

I'm halfway through the day, it turns out that I have the exact same schedule as Alex and Thomas. It's lunch period now so I'm in the lunch line, waiting to pay for my food. (It's hot dogs today) I make it to the end of the line and start looking for a place to sit, Alex is waving me over from a table in the back, so I start to walk over.

I'm halfway to the table when that bitch Samantha decides to go through the same isle at the same time. She smacks my tray so ketchup and mustard fly all over my favorite sweatshirt.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" She says as the whole cafeteria erupts in laughter. She trying to hide the satisfied smirk on her face. I try and play it off cool.

"Don't worry about it dear, everyone has a mental breakdown every once in a while, you just seem to have more than the average person." I smile tightly and walk away, leaving my tray and inedible food on the floor. When I get to the hallway, I make a mad dash for the ladies room, hoping the stain won't set.

I kick open the door and sprint to one of the sinks, putting soap and water all over the stain. It's not coming out so I tug it off, exposing my Pokémon T-shirt.

I slink out of the bathroom and slowly inch toward the cafeteria. I almost collide with Alex as he's running out if the crowded lunch room.

"Holy shit, I'm sorry... Hey, I was just coming to find you." He says eyeing my face.

"Well you found me." I say as I try to move around him. He grabs my arm, not hard, but forceful enough to get my attention.

"That was a really shitty thing for Samantha to do, I'm sorry it happened," he said fading back into quietville. He blushes a little and holds something out to me. "Here, since yours was ruined just now." I stare at his hand and slowly reach out to take it. It was a red zip-up hoodie, it was his red zip-up hoodie.

"I can't take this, it's yours." I say quietly but firmly.

"Ah but now it's yours." He says, giving me a soft smile. He takes the hoodie out of my hands and drapes it over my shoulders. "See? Perfect, now let's go back in and show those bitches what they're missing out on." He says turning his soft smile into a grin. He gently grabs my hand, but I don't let go. We walk back in the cafeteria like that, faint blushes visible on both our faces. Damn I hate cafeteria food.
