I woke up. "Unknown!" She was smiling at me "Good morning, Annelise." I said to the love of my life "I made breakfast!" she made amazing anut pancakes, better than mine, I must admit.

We set off. She and I found ourselves crossing rivers and fighting beasts (a bunch of boring stuff). When suddenly "Hello, who are you?"  A nice looking man said to us. He had a scar over one of his eyes, the blue one, the other was green. He had black hair, and he was wearing a pink hoodie. "Who are you? I'm sorry, but my mother doesn't like trespassers."

Annelise seemed kind of annoyed at this "I am Princess Unknown, of the Meris Dynasty, And this is Annelise, the future hero of Meris." Annelise was surprised to hear me say this "I can't believe I didn't recognize you, Mom won't mind you passing through. She would actually like to here about this." And he ran off to a small cottage and we heard someone scream "Go with  them then, offer your help, they may not need it but try to be hospitable, boy!" Then we saw him come out of the house, holding his arm. "You can come with us. You're mom doesn't seem that nice." Annelise said without being asked to. Soon enough he ran back in and came out with a sword "My name's Peregrine. I think I might be of some assistance." Annelise walked over and examined the sword. "This is a good weapon," she said nodding A smile spread across his face "Thank you, I made it myself."

He lead us to a shed full of steel, iron, and aluminum weapons. "They don't break easy, trust me." He gestured to the wide array of Hammers, swords, and shields "Take your pick."

Annelise grabbed a hammer that was pretty light, even to me. I grabbed a sword and a shield that had the crest of Meris embedded into them.

"So, Peregrine, tell us a bit about yourself." Annelise said breaking the silence as we walked "I'm, um, a blacksmith. I live with my mother and I never knew my father." He tried to think of something to say "That's it. I don't have a lot about me." I looked at him specifically at his scar "Why don't you tell us about the scar over your eye?" I said looking at him. He stopped, he seemed to be horrified. He blinked a few times and came to. "I-I'd rather n-not." He was shivering "I'm sorry, Peregrine." I said. I had no Idea what he had been through but it must have been terrible, for that reaction to just the mention of it.

"You need to sit down and rest. Now." Annelise was right. We found a log and sat down, I grabbed  a bottle of water and handed it to him. "Thanks,"
