Chapter 7:

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

6:30 am. I get up and take my shower and put on my outfit of the day: light blue jeans, a white crop top shirt and my white vans and decide to just leave my hair down. I head downstairs and see no one. Must have left early. I get in my car and head to school wanting to get this day over with. I park my car in the same spot I did yesterday. As I'm about to get out, my car door opens and someone opens my car door for me. Must be Zane. But I see it's Hayton. "Good morning Aria!" "Um, hey Hayton and thanks." "No problem. So how was your day yesterday?" "It was good. Hey Hayton can I talk to you for a minute... please." "Sure Aria." "This is going to sound a little weird but I was wondering why did you give me that present yesterday?" "I told you yesterday Aria. Because you are the one person I trust the most and the person I could depend on for anything." "So you didn't get me that gift because of something else or something more? Hayton please be honest with me right now okay. Do you like me more than just a friend or no?" "Look Aria, I... (sighs) I do like you but I just didn't want you to find out this way." "Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have just shutted you out or stopped talking to you because you liked me." "I know Aria. I just...didn't think you would have liked me too. Do you like me too...more as a friend Aria?" OH NO! I don't feel the same why if I say no. I would hurt his feelings but I don't like him. "I...." "HEY ARIA!" I turn around and see Zane walking towards me without Crystal. What a lifesaver. "Hey Zane. Um what's up?" "Nothin' much just stopped by to say hey and thanks for yesterday. I had a lot of fun and hopefully we can do it another time if you want. Also you look really pretty today. But when do you never." "Thanks and um sure I guess." "Great, sorry if I got into you twos convo." It's okay Zane um this is my friend Hayton. Hayton this is Zane." "Yeah I know who he is," Hayton says with a vain in his voice. "Alright well I'm going to go um see you later Aria? And nice to meet you Hayton." I look and see that Hayton looks upset. "So Hayton...um...." "Yesterday was great huh? More like fun." "Hayton it's not what it looks like. We were just hanging out." "That's it Aria? That boy is not your type. You are going to get hurt and I don't want you to get hurt by that jerk!" "Hayton, look thanks for looking out for me but you don't know him like that and I would love for you to just stay out of my business for once. He is a really nice boy and I would appreciate if everyone would stop saying he is this bad kid and you guys don't want to see me hurt. If you don't want to see me get hurt so bad then stop interfering with my life and business and give Zane a chance.

DINNNNGGGG!!!!

Look Hayton I have to go that's the bell." What was Hayton's problem? Why was he so mad? And why does everyone keep saying I'm gonna get hurt by Zane? I could take care of myself and I know what I am doing.

-LUNCH TIME-

"Hey Arri!" "Hey Mikala!" She's in a good mood. "Ohh (hugs each other) what's been going on with you. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!" "I know I've been a bit busy." "Hmm with Hayton? I seen you too this morning. I didn't want to interrupt anything." (laughs) "Something like that." "Oh you guys would be SOOO cute together. Alright let's head to lunch." Once me and Mikala got lunch we head and sit down with Peyton and Hayton, who still looks upset. "Heyy guys," Mikala said. "Hey Mikala! Hey Ari!," Peyton says. "Hey Hayton, you okay?," Mikala says. "Yeah. I'm fine. Actually I'll see you guys later. I have something to do." "Ari, what's wrong with Hayton?," Mikala said. "Um...." "Hey ARI!" That's when I see Zane walk towards our table. OUR TABLE! And I then start to see everyone staring even Crystal with a glare. "Hey Zane, what's up?" "Hey Ari, Ari's friends. I was wondering if you wanted to come sit with me for lunch today?" "Umm...." I look at Mikala and she is shaking her head no. "Sure."
