Chapter 6:

"Hey sorry about that back there." "It's fine Zane we were just in our feelings for a bit." "Yeah a lot," Zane grins. I laugh and then we both laugh. "Aria?" "Yeah Zane?" "You are probably the nicest person to me right now who understands everything I'm going through." "Thanks, I try." "Hhmmm. Well here we are." "Thanks Zane." Before I can get out the car he grabbed my hand. "Thank you Ari. I mean that and I hope we can do this again someday but next time with food." (Laughs) "Like a date?" "Yeah something like that. If you want." "Yeah. Sure." Then before I knew it Zane kissed me and I kissed him back. "I'm soo sorry." "It's fine (grins) good night Zane." "Here's your phone too by the way." "Thanks." "Goodnight Queen Aria," Zane says in a prince kind of voice. I couldn't help but laugh. I get in my car and start it up heading home.

It's about to be 8 o'clock when I pull up in the driveway. Hopefully my mom is not upset. I walk through the door and see my mom and brother singing and dancing to High School Musical music. "Hey sweetie! How was your day today?" So far, so good. She's not mad. "It was good mom. I seen Mikala, Peyton and Hayton. Hayton gave me a present. My favorite picture of us." "Aww, that's so cute and nice of him. I'm telling you Ari ever since middle school. That boy is into you but you can never see that." "We're just friends mom." "You might be but he's not... trust me I know it when I see it. You should talk to him Aria. See how he feels." "Ookay mom. I'm going to my room now see you later." "Okay sweetheart dinner will be ready in a bit." Is my mom right about Hayton? Why did he just give me a present out of nowhere knowing my birthday hasn't came yet? Why was the picture of just me and him? Does Hayton have some type of feelings for me?

I get to my room, shut the door, throw my stuff everywhere and plop on my bed. Today was weird. First I get kissed by my crush Zane and now I think my friend Hayton likes me.
