Friends

The first year of uni can be lonely, don't worry if you don't have heaps of friends.

If you don't know anyone it's a fresh start.

Talk to people in your classes, see if you have anyone in more than one of your classes.

Study groups or tutorial classes are the best way to make friends with those who have similar classes.

If you take a language or drama/dance class you will be forced into talking to people.

In a lecture say hello to the people around you, they are most probably nervous too.
