Chapter 2

Prince: Everyone in the village get out of here!

Everyone started to run out of the village to the closest Village. The Soldiers had there swords drawn ready to attack the monsters, Elizabeth quickly grabbed her sword ready to get revenge. She wasn't going to run again. She was going to fight them.

Prince: Get out of here. It is to dangerous around here.

Elizabeth didn't listen to him. Instead she positioned herself and waited to attack. The monsters were taller than all of the soldiers but there weren't many of them. They started to fight them so they could protect everyone and give them more time to escape. Elizabeth slashed her sword and hit the monster. The monster was barely effected by her sword. She didn't give up and kept hitting it with the sword. More soldiers joined her. She went for the eye but missed. The monster took his mace and slammed it into the ground trying to hit Elizabeth. She quickly jumped out of the way and saw a dent in the ground left by the force of the attack. Some of the soldiers were on the ground. Even though they didn't want to all of the soldiers retreated. Elizabeth did too because she knew they were no match for the monsters. The soldiers got on their horses and were leaving the area. Elizabeth didn't have a horse so she would have to run. then the prince came to her on his horse.

Prince: Hop on!

Elizabeth jumped on the horse and everyone escaped the monsters. Some soldiers were hurt in the fight but they will be ok. They found the Villagers in the closest Village. They were all safe for now. Some soldiers went to the Kingdom to inform the King about what happened. 

Prince: Are you ok?

Elizabeth: Yes

Prince: Ok.

Elizabeth walked around the Village. She saw that the entire Village was helping her village. She was happy she escaped and everyone else did too. Elizabeth still wanted her revenge though. She still wanted to kill every last one of them. They destroyed her home and took her family. Elizabeth walked to one of the houses in the Village. She knocked on the door. A women and two kids were at the door when they opened it.

Elizabeth: Hello! May I stay at your house for the night?

Woman: Yes. 

Elizabeth: Thankyou so much.

As she walked in she smelled freshly baked bread. The lady offered her some food but she didn't want to eat their food since they were allowing her to stay in their house. The lady brought her to a room.

Woman: You can stay in this room tonight.

Elizabeth: Again thankyou for letting my stay in your house.

The Woman left and Elizabeth looked at the room. It was way better then her camp in the woods. She looked at the bed and sat down. It was so comfortable since she always slept on the hard ground. Elizabeth turned the little lantern by her bed off. She decided to lay down on the bed and soon fell asleep. 

~The Next Day~

Once Elizabeth woke up she could smell the breakfast that was being cooked. She got out of the bed and went to the kitchen. She saw that the Woman made bread and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Woman: Would you like breakfast?

Elizabeth: No thankyou. You already let me stay in your home.

Elizabeth made sure she had everything with her and went outside. She saw that some men from her Village were getting some weapons before going to their village to see If it is safe. Elizabeth wanted to go to so she asked them if she could come. They allowed her to since she was fighting them while the Village escaped. She wanted to go to her camp and see if it was still there. Once they got to the Village they saw some soldiers from the Kingdom. The Village was safe for now.
