Weak Fu Jing No More (Chapter 1)

   A pair of dark eyes is coldly looking at the small village through the window. The light of the sun shines the small houses in the place. Every morning, this scene is always seen. The village of Hianyue is the smallest village occupying the last corner of the whole empire. The owner of the eyes clenched her both fists. Eventhough the village of Hianyue is far from the city, their is no doubt that the Emperor's bad way of leading the empire has affect this village. Its been 5 years since the new empire is built replacing the Fu Empire. Everyone is shock when the new empire is born but noone dares to speak out their opinions.

   The Yu Empire.

   The new empire is lead by the bloodthirsty Yu Ouyang, Emperor Yu Ouyang. Everyone who dares to oppose him will be killed with a snap. Eversince Emperor Ouyang leads the empire, everything changed. The people become scare just to hear the emperor's name. With his new rules, noone dares to break it for everyone is afraid to die.

   Of course, everyone is aware how Ouyang became the new leader of the nation. He did killed the whole Fu Family to get the throne. To prevent people from talking, he ordered everyone that who dares to talk about the late Fu Family will be killed brutally. Due to that, noone dares to talk about the Fu Family.

   The owner of the eyes close the window. She then sit and sharpen her daggers.

   "What a normal day to spare. Another morning to resent the bloodthirsty Emperor." The lady said as she get another dagger and sharpen it.

   "Lady Fu Jing---"

   The lady throw her dagger in the door wherein a boy just enter. The boy froze on his position as the dagger slightly scratch his cheek.

   "Say that name again and your blood will be all over the place." The cold voice of the lady made the boy want to die.

   The boy kneel in front of the lady. "I deserve to die! I deserve to die!" The boy ask for forgiveness.

   "Rise!" As the lady said, the boy stand up. "Never act as a servant for you are not one. I will not kill you, worry not. Just don't say that name again. Nonetheless, who are you?" The lady said with the same cold voice yet the voice is more calm and not scary.

   "Forgive me, lady. I am a new ally from the city. The name's Longyi." He said and bowed.

   "Welcome Longyi. And call me Danmeng. I am Gao Danmeng. That Fu Jing is already dead" The lady said. "What brings you here, Longyi?" She added.

   "Lady Danmeng, Lady Weijin ordered me to hand this letter to you." Danmeng read the letter. She smiled, 'Its about time', Danmeng thought.

   Three days had passed after the letter reached her. Danmeng together with her team prepares theirselves to go to the city. Danmeng's mind is anticipating to go to the city. She will start everything, her dreadful revenge.

   "You sure do looking forward to it, right?"

   A man with dark brown hair wearing plain clothes stand besides Danmeng. He look mischievous and stubborn but it can't hide this man's handsomeness.

   "In all the people here, you and Tangning knows very well how long I waited for this moment." Danmeng answered with a hint of excitement on her voice.

   A smirk form in the man's face. "I can't wait to smack his face. I want to see him suffer."

   Danmeng did not say anything. She knew how this man, Han Yifan, hated the new Emperor. Six years ago, when Ouyang is still a General, he killed the whole family of Han without any reason. That made him despise Ouyang.

   "Lady Danmeng, Master Yifan, everything is all set. We can start our travel." As a man spoke, the whole team started their travel. Since the village of Hianyue is the farthest community in the city, it will take 3 days before they reach their destinations.

   Whilst travelling, Danmeng reminisce how she is still alive and how her old self died.

    Five years ago, as this lady was killed by the pretentious Yu Ouyang, her body was thrown in the forest near the village of Hianyue while her family's dead bodies was burn. Ouyang was confident that the lady, Second Princess Fu Jing, is dead. But little did Ouyang know, while the heavy rains makes the night breeze colder, two figures who happen to pass by in the forest saw the Princess' body and save her.

    While Ouyang became the emperor in very short time, the Princess also manage to fight death and brought  herself alive but it tooks her a year and a half to be fully recovered. Hatred and resentment to Ouyang made the Princess strong in those years. She wants to live. She needs to live.

    As for her two saviors, she told them everything what was happened. She, being a Princess, and how Ouyang betrayed her. Those two happened to hate him as much as she do.

   They are Han Yifan and Liu Tangning. They are her saviors.

   In the next three years after Fu Jing's recovery, she managed to built a secret alliance against the bloodthirsty Emperor. Ordinary peoples, high-class peoples and even some of the ministers in the palace joined her alliance. Those are the peoples who is still loyal to the last empire. They also believes in Princess Fu Jing. Their alliance is lead by her, Yifan and Tangning.

   Danmeng smiled bitterly. She hated how foolish she was before. Yes, she is Princess Fu Jing. No, she was Princess Fu Jing. The fool 17 years old Princess Fu Jing is now dead. She already burried her old foolish self to the grave. Now, she is Danmeng, a 22 years old strong lady who will make the tables turn.

   She touch the scar on her neck. The scar left by the sword that almost killed her.

   "Get ready to fall Yu Ouyang. The new Fu Jing will make you dig your own grave. Wait and see the new me, Gao Danmeng, and forget the old Fu Jing. Weak Fu Jing no more..."
