Clarissa Clark had been living at the UDF (Useful Development Facility) boarding school for a year and a half and had been sick of it ever since.

Before, when she was a free bird, she was living in Seattle, Washington with her mom and dad and "perfect" little brother.

Her parents always played favorites with him, who goes by the name James Clark, and she was always sure she would never be good enough for her parents unlike her sibling.

She was a rebellious teenager, but not to make a point, or to scare people, or because she liked attention. She did it simply because she was good at it, and she liked it.

Her parents were horrified at her decisions in life, such as sneaking out, or going to parties, or getting bad grades.

But she always knew they thought worse of the things she did.

When she snuck out, it was only to visit her grandmother in the hospital who didn't have much time left in life.

Or when she went to parties, she never drank or did drugs. It was just her way of trying to socialize and gain some friends, which she never had success in.

And when she made bad grades she was sure it was only because her teachers thought bad of her.

They probably never even checked her homework or answers of efforts in projects.

They just assumed she was stupid. Just like how her parents assumed she was a bad person.

So her parents decided to send her away to a boarding school for troubled teens.

Clarissa didn't even fight back, she didn't like the idea of it, but she also knew that arguing about staying wouldn't do any good.

"When do I leave?"  Clarissa asked with a monotone voice.

"Tonight, you have been signed in as a student and have your dorm ready and everything is settled. I'll drive you." Mr. Clark declared happily as he thought this would help his defiant daughter.

After an hour of packing her things, she shoved her suitcase in the back of the car and climbed in the backseat.

"Why aren't you sitting upfront?" Her father asked in concern.

"Well since you want to send me away so fast I figured you wouldn't want me to sit by you." She said staring out the window and the rainy sky.

Her father didn't respond as he drove off the 3 and a half hours it took to get to UDF. He pulled up in the parking lot and got out of the car, grabbing her bag to walk her in.

When they opened the doors to the facility she was welcomed with a unique cent of like an old history museum.

"Are you Clarissa?" A unique voice said behind the two Clark's.

They both turned around to face a beautiful girl.

She was tall and skinny, and had straight black hair and dark eyes.

"I am." Clarissa answered and grabbed her bag.

"I'm going to take you to your room and help you get set up here. You're going to have so much fun." She answered with a sweet smile.

"Perky.. I hate it here already" Clarissa thought in her head.

Her dad handed Clarissa her bag and held his arms out for a hug.

But Clarissa completely denied it and walked off, not even saying goodbye, and followed the girl up a set of wooden stairs.

She followed the bubbly girl up into a dorm room.

"I'm Mackenzie, and you're my roommate!" She said holding her arms out in a happy "hallelujah" pose.

"Lucky me." Clarissa said while throwing her crap on the bed and sitting next to it.

"How long have you been here?" Clarissa asked hoping not to offend the bright girl.

"4 years." The girl, now known as Mackenzie answered while sitting on her own bed.

"4 years?! What'd you do?!" Clarissa said surprised at how long the girl had been imprisoned there.

"Shoplift, underaged drinking, stuff like that." She said as she sat on her bed and leaned back on her elbows.

"Really? You don't seem like you'd do things like that. You're really.. joyful" she said trying not to sound judgmental.

"HA! Bitch it's all an act." Mackenzie said chuckling as she sat back up.

Clarissa raised an eyebrow at how well the girl had fooled her at first.

"This place is an actual hell. But at least now I have someone to suffer with." Mackenzie said and she rolled her eyes and grinned.

"Lucky Me.. I actually mean it this time." She said as both of the girls laughed in unison.

                  •••••••••••••••••••••••••••

The girls soon became friends and did other rebellious things within the school.

They still snuck out and did all of the things they'd do just like at home.

They were the "bad" bad girls of the school. Even though all of the students at UDF had done something to get them trapped there.

Things were normal for them until something new happened.

UDF was gaining some new students.

Seven boys from South Korea.

The girls had heard about this before anyone else due to eavesdropping in the principles office or changing grades in the computer and things like that.

Things were gonna get interesting and the girls were excited for the new changes they'd be facing.
