Chapter two

Warning!: this is NOT going to be exact. It probably won't even be close, but I don't want to keep switching between the first episode and this to get the exact things everyone in Naruto says when this is clearly an au anyway. Naruto was told about being the nine tailed fox by the Hokage right before graduation. He didn't want him finding out because of someone else and decided he was old enough to handle it. Also, our favorite Rock Lee will graduate with Koya, Naruto, and the others, just with a different Sensei. Thanks for reading! ;)

I am sitting in my grandpa's office, having a cup of tea with him. I 'look' at him in confusion and exasperation, knowing he can hear the commotion outside and is clearly ignoring it.

"Gr-"

"Don't worry, this is a regular occurrence. You will be meeting the source here soon."

As if on cue, the door bursts open with a man carrying some sort of a man fox hybrid type of thing. The aura is powerful, but not as much as me, and it seems to all be condensed into the child's body. That can't possibly be healthy.

"Lord Hokage! Naruto just painted the faces of the Hokages!" The taller man says angrily.

"Ah, Iruka, Naruto; so nice to see you on this lovely day. Tea?" He offers casually. Iruka begins ranting about Naruto, who was able to escape his grasp without detection, and has made his way over to me.

"May I help you?" I ask the strange kid. At least I assume he's a kid due to how he seems to act and be treated.

"Yeah! Who are you? I've never seen you around here before!" He exclaims.

"That shouldn't matter to someone who can't even escape properly." I reply as Iruka angrily grabs him by the back of his shirt.

"Hey! Let me go you demon!"

"Your one to talk." I retort in place of Iruka. "What are you, some sort of human fox hybrid?"

"Koya! Enough!" Grandpa says.

"Sorry Grandpa." I apologize.

"Grandpa?!!" Naruto asks surprised.

"Naruto, you will be cleaning up your mess on your own. You won't get anywhere in life if you keep acting so childish." He says, ignoring the outburst.

"Koya, for your rude comment, you will be put in charge of his supervision during cleaning. Then be sure to escort him home. I will send someone to meet you there and bring you back here."

"Don't worry about it. This place seems to be the most visited place in the village. I could see it from the gates."

"Very well. Off you two go. Dinner will probably be finished by the time you get home. Here's some money. You two grab some before returning. Have fun." He says waving. I can feel his smirk, and am glad to be unable to see his smug face.

"So, what's your deal?" I ask Naruto as he viciously scrubs at the rock underneath him.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, by the sound of your voice, you must be about my age, and yet you seem very immature."

"Hey!"

"Sorry, I didn't know how else to word it. Why else would you paint the faces of the hokage?"

"Because! I'm gonna be better than any of them have ever been! I, Naruto Uzumaki, am going to be the best hokage that ever lived! I'll go down in history!" I can't help but burst into laughter at this exclamation.

"You may be powerful, but you have no tact and you act like a child. At this rate you'd be lucky to be second worst ninja in the multiverse."

"Hey! I don't know what that last word means, but I know that wasn't nice."
