Hurricane flew over the great Ice Cliff, ready to face any challenge that her guards have reported. She looked down at the outskirts of the Ice Kingdom and saw a NightWing. She nose-dived onto the dragon, pinning him to the ground. She got her freezing breath ready as she stared at the black dragon.

"What are you doing at the Ice Kingdom, NightWing?" She snarled.

"Well," he said calmly. "I definitely wasn't looking for a beautiful IceWing."

"What?" Hurricane asked, confused.

"I'm saying that I wasn't looking for you." He said with a smirk. "Anyway," He sprang to his feet, kicking Hurricane off of him. She flipped up and whirled around to see him fleeing toward the wall. She raced after him and bit his tail. He yelled and shot fire at her. Hurricane rolled out of the way. The NightWing lunged at her but she leaped back into the sky. She did a flip and dove toward him. The NightWing leaped after her. She shot her freezing breath at the same time the NightWing shot his fire. The two breaths collided and blinded them with steam. Hurricane dropped to the ground below to let her eyes adjust. The steam cleared and she saw him. Hurricane stood there, breathing heavily as did the male NightWing.

"Wow," he said, still out of breath. "I never expected...an IceWings fights to be...like dancing."

"There...is nothing about...fighting that is like...dancing..." Hurricane said, nearly passing out from exhaustion.

"I'm Rulebreaker." Said the NightWing.

"I can tell." Hurricane said, starting to get her breath back. Rulebreaker started to chuckle. "What's so funny?" She asked, a little offended.

"You," Rulebreaker said with a grin.

"Oh, you little—!" She chased him and he ran away. They eventually were chasing each other in the sky. Rulebreaker headed for the Ice Cliff and Hurricane sped up. She grabbed his talon in her own and pulled him away just when he was about to go over. "Wait!" She exclaimed.

"Whoa," Rulebreaker said, staring at the fear in her eyes. "Since when did an IceWing care for a NightWing?"

"I don't!" Hurricane shouted, yanking her talon away from his. "I just don't want you going over that wall an getting yourself killed!"

Rulebreaker raised his brow in a "seriously?" kind of way. "It's Animus." Hurricane said with a sigh. "Anyone who isn't an IceWing would be speared to death."

Rulebreaker had a look of caution and realization. "Oh," he said. "Got it." He backed away from the giant Ice wall and over to Hurricane. "So, your name?"

"I'm Princess Hurricane." She said, starting to fly to the ground below.

"'Princess'?" Rulebreaker said in shock as he caught up to her. "Wow, sorry for being so flirty then.

"You were flirty?" Hurricane asked, glancing at him.

"Yep." He said with a smile. "So, you're next in line for the throne?"

"No," she said shaking her head. "My sister, Glacier, is."

"Oh," Rulebreaker said sounding a bit disappointed. "Too bad, I thought you'd make a beautiful queen."

"I thought you'd stop with the flirting." Hurricane said when they hit the ground.

"Well," he said in a flirting voice. "I am quite the rule breaker."

"Aren't all NightWings?" Hurricane asked in a mischievous voice, trying to ignore the pun he just made.

"Haha!" He laughed. "So true! Haha!"

Hurricane didn't know why but it sent a happy feeling through her scales whenever Rulebreaker laughed or chuckled or subtly flirted with her. They talked until dawn. When Hurricane flew back home, her mind was immediately swarmed with worries as she tried to sleep. Will he survive here? How will he survive? Wait, he may just go to him home. But where is his home? Does he have a good home? Is he thinking about me? Does he like me like how I like him? Is he asking the same questions about me? Does he hate me?

The next morning, Hurricane found herself flying over the Ice Cliff to find Rulebreaker waiting for her. He looked up at her and smiled. Happiness shuddered inside Hurricanes scales as she landed in front of him.
