Frostbite paced along the outskirts of the Ice Kingdom. "Where are they?" She muttered as she stared at the sky. "I've been waiting since dawn." She stomped the snow in anger. Finally, she saw two blurry white dragons in the sky. They dropped down in front of Frostbite, sending snow into her face. "Finally," she growled, shoving snow off of her snout with her left talon. "I've been waiting since dawn like what we planned."
"We're sorry," Snowflake said. "We had to sneak past the guards."
Gust spoke up. "And when we got caught—"
Not surprised. Frostbite thought.
"—Snowflake couldn't keep her story straight and gave outlandish reasons like. 'I'm bored'. Or, 'I need to kill someone—something!'." Gust finished. Snowflake hid her face with her wing, shielding herself from any eye contact.
"Calm down, Snowflake." Frostbite growled at the small IceWing. "You want to get better in the rankings, don't you?"
"Y-yes!" Snowflake exclaimed. She swung her wing away and it hit Gust in the snout.
"Ow." He muttered.
"I'm sorry!" Snowflake cried, coiling her wing in to protect herself.
"Shut up and listen to me." Frostbite growled. "Here's the plan. We fly to the Rainforest, I meet my dad. I freeze him to death. And then we leave. Got it?"
"Doesn't sound like a plan," Gust said, tilting his head.
Frostbite hissed and flipped around. "To the Rainforest." She leapt into the sky, followed by Gust and Snowflake. They flew over all the ice, snow, and rock below them. When they reached the sandy area near Possibility, Snowflake asked if they could take a break. Frostbite agreed but didn't admit that her wings were getting tired. They dove into Possibility to rest. Frostbite had never been to Possibility. It was busier than she'd expected. SandWings, SkyWings, and MudWings around the town to shops, houses, and other strange buildings. There were a group of big boulders just outside of the busy town. Frostbite chose the largest one that towered the others. Snowflake chose the one closest to Frostbite. Frostbite looked over the town and saw no IceWings. She looked at the shop that was closest to her and it looked to be selling scorpions without the barb, lizards, fish, pieces of pigs, cows and sheep. She asked Gust to go get her and Snowflake some fish. After he left, she noticed that there already two SkyWings at the shop. Wait, were they SkyWings? They looked so different from the other SkyWings scattered about.
Most SkyWings have bulky arms and large scales and giant wings. These dragons had pebble-sized scales, smooth arms, and normal sized wings. They also had some sort of mini wings on their cheeks and shorter horns and strange scales surrounding the eyes. The one on the left had orange scales with a hint of red in them. The one on the left had orange scales with a strange hint of green. Frostbite guessed that they were a hybrid of some kind.
She directed her attention over to a SkyWing who seemed to be staring at her in anger. She flicked her black forked tongue at the SkyWing. The SkyWing stomped over. "Hey, you!" He bellowed.
"What do you want?" Frostbite called, looking down her snout on the male SkyWing.
"What is your name?" He asked. He flew up to get to her eye level. Frostbite knew what he was doing. He was getting to eye level to show that he would never look up to her. She'd done this trick all her life. She knew it when she saw it. She also learned how to counter the effect.
"Who's asking?" She asked calmly. She raised her neck to be higher than the SkyWing.
"Glide of the SkyWings." He said. "Now, you're an IceWing, correct?"
