I would gladly pay for my sins if it means keeping her with me and not giving her up for adoption. Eugene hasn't forgiven me and I don't mind him treating me like a slave after all I committed a sacrilege. I still can feel every touch of his ,every stroke and every kiss we shared in my matrimonial home and bed I was driven by lust and neglect . Eugene was never home always about his money and good looks thereby totally neglecting me and my needs too. After my recovery I had lied to Eugene about aborting the product of my foolishness which he believed till I birthed Rose and the truth came out.

I quickly close my eyes waiting for the pain that never came till I opened my eyes and then I felt the blow on my nose, the sting of his palm on my cheek and the two kicks to my stomach which sent my flying backwards. i immediately turn to my side lying in a fetal position to absorb the pains even though it was useless. I saw him walking away through my blurry vision I know this is where I am going to spend the night. But the the shrilly cries of Rose had me dashing to her room like a lunatic out of asylum. I would never let that monster near my princess she's all I have.
