A/N: I am a big, fat, pretty little liar. i got caught up with unpacking. sorry. here is the long chapter i promised, hope it'll make up for my lying. 1 vote next chapter.

TRIS POV

I can hear the train coming towards the platform. Its 2am, and we're heading towards the fence to play paintball. The rest of participants start running down the platform. I look to see if I can find Tobias. He's to my left only a couple people down the line. While running, I slip between the members of Dauntless, and I speed ahead of him so he sees me. I can see the train now. I prepare myself to jump. When the time comes, I swing my body onto the train, gripping the handle. I almost fall, but a firm pair of hands wrap around my waist and pull me back to safety.

*time lapse*

TOBIAS POV

The train ride is almost over Zeke stands up, and so do I. Time to pick teams.

"My pick first." Zeke snaps.

"Uri."

"Tris."

"Peter."

"Al."

When the pickings are done, the list looks like this:

Zeke: Uri, Peter, Shauna, Marlene,Lynn

Toby: Tris, Al, Will Chris

Okay then. back to the story.BTW: its like capture the flag, but with paintballs as amo.

Our team heads towards the marshes. We end up hiding the flag in some bushes.

"Okay, guys. I want Will and Al, to stay here. Guard the flag. Tris, hit the Ferris wheel. Christina, be a lookout for Tris. I'll take the perimeter." I say

"You got it, boss." Tris says then gives me a quick peck on the lips.

I nod at the boys, then head off.

TRIS POV

Chris and I start towards the Ferris wheel.

"Your really gonna climb that thing?" Christina questions.

"Hell yeah. I'm Dauntless." I respond.

We reach the Ferris wheel. I fling my gun onto my back, instead of having it hang on my chest. The rungs of the ladder are a bit slippery, but I can manage. I climb for about five minutes, until Chris calls out, "I Think that's high enough, Tris."

To which I respond, "Don't be a pansy. I got just a little ways to go."

I climb about six more rungs, and see it. A faint green glow, located just infront of the Amity fields. Hidden away in the tall grass. I climb down as fast as i can without falling, and report to Christina.

"Its just a little ways into the Amity fields."

"Great, lets go." she says. And we do.

As we're running, I spot a person. I motion to Chris. I lift my gun, and aim for the chest area. I fire.

The target tucks and rolls. "Wait, Tris! Its me!" I hear the target call. ts only Tobias. I hold fire.

"Hey. the flag is just a little ways into the Amity fields."

"Good going babe." he responds.

"Ugh, can we just go? You can celebrate when we get the flag." Christina whines.

We run some more.

TOBIAS POV

We reach the begging of the tall grass that belongs to the Amity faction. The glow is brighter now. I hear talking and put a finger to my lips as to tell the girls to be silent. They know the drill. Chris and I will head straight in, and Tris will crouch down and sneak her way to the flag. This is it. The moment of truth.

TRIS POV

They head into the grass before me. I count to ten and then head to ward the flag. I hear a shot go off. and then another. I am so close to the flag. An arms length away So close...

I hear the click of a gun. Zeke.

"Hello Tris."

"Zeke." I spit it out like its poisonous in my mouth. I am very angry with him.

"Come on. Trissy. Make it easy for me?" he pleads.

"First off, don't call me that. Second off, Hell no." I say and wip out my gun.

He shoots first, and it misses me by an inch. I pull my guns triiger, causing a purpule paintball to spatter across his vest. I grab the flag and wave it in the air.

TOBIAS POV

I see the flag waving around above the tall grass.

We did it. We one.

Time to bring out the spiders.
