ZEKE POV
I burst into Four's apartment.
All of our friends are gathered around his tv, watching replays of my spider-catastrophe.
They are surrounded by plates of dauntless cake, beer, sodas, and bags of chips.
"Hey Zeke, that was great bro." Uriah says then laughs some more.
" Yep - I, I - love - t-those - dance - moves-s" Tris says in between giggles.
I can only imagine what shade of red my face is now.
I look and see Four in the corner. He has a smirk on his face.
I have to decide if I can forgive him. We've been best buds for forever, but he kinda crossed the line on this one. We did make a deal, but I feel so embarrassed right now.
He gets up, beer still in hand, and walks clumsily over to me.
"Hey Zeke." He says. Everyone else becomes quiet, except for the occasional laugh.
"Hey." I respond.
"I'm just say it. Im sorry about all of this crap. I hope you can forgive me. I want to be friends with you, I'm mean, my life would be serious and boring as hell without a bit of Zeke in it." Four starts.
I honestly think I could cry. I didn't realize who much I missed my best friend.
"What do ya say, are we cool bro?" Four asks.
"Yeah. We're cool." I say.
Four gets me a beer, I sit down in the living room and hug Shauna, and we replay the video again.
This time, I laugh along too.
