𝐴𝐷𝐸𝐿𝐴𝐼𝐷𝐸 𝐺𝐼𝐿𝐵𝐸𝑅𝑇 was an intelligent and beautiful girl. With many hidden talents.

It was a shame that everybody picked her twin sister, Elena, over her.

Elena this, Elena that.

Adelaide had always been jealous but had never let it show. She was a kind-hearted girl who was fierce and strong.

Elena and her best friends had kept the Supernatural a secret from Adelaide but when the youngest Gilbert twin starts to have strange things happening to her, she may just belong right in the middle of all the Supernatural drama. Especially when she falls in love with the man trying to kill her sister.

𝑁𝐼𝐾𝐿𝐴𝑈𝑆 𝑀𝐼𝐾𝐴𝐸𝐿𝑆𝑂𝑁.

Most people would call him the villain of this story, but in reality, he was just lonely, never having felt love other than his sibling's unique way of showing their love for each other.

Her sister and the others try to warn Adelaide to stay away from Klaus Mikaelson, but when has the Gilbert girl ever actually listened to them.

Adelaide is thrown into a dilemma when Klaus fights her friends and family so he could use Elena to create his hybrids and break the curse set upon him but although she knows she should put them first, the pull of the soulmate curse placed upon her a thousand years ago by the Original Witch stops her from defending her friends and family and instead protecting and loving Klaus. But it doesn't all seem that bad, especially when she meets the rest of his family and they welcome her with open and gracious arms - something she had never experienced.

This Adelaide's story, not Elena's and the Salvatore's, and this is how the youngest Gilbert twin falls in love with someone she was destined to be with, no matter how much of a villain he is in everyone else's mind.

Adelaide Gilbert discovers that shadows aren't all that dark as they seem, throughout her journey and her never seen before powers come as quite a shock to everyone, especially those who had kept the Supernatural far away from her knowledge, when really she should have been at the centre of it.
