𝐸𝐿𝐸𝑁𝐴 dragged Adelaide out of the bathroom only to bump into the one and only Stefan Salvatore. The person she had been hoping to avoid for the rest of eternity. Adelaide focused back in on what was happening as she bumped into Elena. She felt her sisters grip on her arm tighten and she looked up to see Stefan, looking down at the two of them, wearing a smirk that she wasn't used to seeing on the youngest Salvatore.

"Hello, Elena, Adelaide." He greeted the two girls, tilting his head to the side.

"What are you doing here?" Elena frowned, furrowing her eyebrows.

"What do you mean? I'm going to back school." Stefan said as if it was obvious, "Go Timerwolves!" He cheered sarcastically.

"What? Why?" Elena scoffed.

"Klaus wants me to keep an eye on you both." Stefan admitted. "I'm just doing what I'm told."

"So you're still his lap dog," Adelaide snarled, placing Elena behind her in a protective manner even though Stefan had just said he was there to keep an eye on them both.

"We're going to be late for class." Elena breathed in, nervously, seeing the look Stefan and Adelaide were both giving each other and not wanting them to break out into an argument. Elena attempted to pull Adelaide in the opposite direction of where their first period was but Stefan got ahold of Adelaide's wrist tightly, and stopped the two girls from leaving.

"Class is that way." he pointed the opposite way to where the two girls had began to head in.

"Let me go Stefan," Adelaide growled, glaring at the youngest Salvatore.

"Stefan, let her go." Elena tried to get him to let her sister go but she just moved back in fear as he stared at her with a hard look.
"Elena, do you think I want to be a senior for the 100th time? No. I don't have a choice in the matter. And neither do you two." Stefan informed the two girls.

"I said let go of me. Wouldn't want Nik to lock you in a kennel, would we?" Adelaide snapped back, not even realising that she had called Klaus, Nik, in front of them both.

"Let her go." Alaric came up behind them, and Stefan backed away, lifting his hands up in mock defeat as he sent Alaric a fake smile before he suddenly slammed the history teacher into the lockers. Passing students looked at Stefan in shock, pushing past quickly to get away from the angry vampire.

"Stefan, stop it!" Elena whisper yelled towards the vampire who easily held Alaric to the lockers.

"You're not gonna get in my way. You hear me?" Stefan patted his chest, letting go. "I will see the three of you in history." Stefan smiled sarcastically as he walked backwards before turning around and strolling off down the hall.

Alaric led both Elena and Adelaide into his classroom which hadn't filled up with any students yet.

"What the hell is he doing here?!" Alaric asked, putting some books down on the desks.

"Klaus compelled him to watch over us." Adelaide spoke as she leaned against one of the desks at the front.

"Apparently I'm one of Klaus's assets now that my blood is the only way he can create hybrids. And Adelaide-" Elena looked towards her sister and saw that she didn't want anyone else to know as she shook her head a little, "is Adelaide, the only person he seems to actually care about." Elena finished.
