"𝑌𝑂𝑈 put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart." Klaus told Elena angrily, as he roughly dragged her by the back of her shirt, his other hand holding onto Adelaide's wrist, gentler but from the tight grip than usual she could tell he was also pissed at her. "The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that. Now by bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing." Adelaide stayed quiet while hearing Elena struggled to get out of Klaus's grip.

"If you're going to kill me, just do it!" Adelaide sent her sister a small glare. They had protected her for this long and now she was willing to just throw it away without a fight.

"Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways of making you suffer." Klaus chirped, smirking as he used his shoulder to open the double doors to the gym. He pushed the two sisters in where soon to be Seniors, like themselves, were covering the whole floor in red or white solo plastic cups.

"Attention, seniors!" Klaus yelled in his terrible America accent, gaining all their attention.

"Not this accent again." Adelaide muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes. "You have officially been busted. Prank night is over."

"You sound like a show host for a kids TV show." Adelaide told the hybrid who sent her a glare in response. She let out a small wimpier as his grip tightened. He must have heard her because he loosened his grip, knowing he had held her wrist too tightly.

"Head on home." All the teenagers groaned from being busted, not knowing who Klaus was.

"You two. I remember you." Klaus spoke up towards Dana and Chad, using his normal voice again.

"I don't know why he uses a fake America accent, the British one is much hotter." Adelaide muttered to herself, as Dana and Chad stopped and turned around to Klaus, showing a look of confusion suggesting they had no idea who he was. Klaus smirked at her words, pulling her a little closer to him. He may be pissed at her for lying, but... he could never really stay angry at Adelaide Gilbert.

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" Dana asked as she shared a puzzled look with Chad.

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met." Klaus shook his head. "Lift your foot up, please, Dana." Klaus compelled the girl who complied, having no choice in the matter. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death." Adelaide sent a sharp glare towards Klaus.

"Don't Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody." Elena began frantically speaking.

"Elena be quiet." Adelaide told her sister in a whisper.

"Oh, come on, love. Of course I do." Klaus replied to Elena, having let go of both the sisters. Adelaide held her wrist to her chest seeing a hand shaped bruise begin to fade, the blue colour turning back to her usual pale skin tone. Elena sent a terrified look towards Adelaide who huffed in annoyance. This was about to go to hell.

Dana had began to slip and Adelaide could see that she wouldn't be able to hold her leg up for much longer. Klaus hadn't done anything else yet, which made her wonder what he was planning.
"Keep it up." He encouraged the human teenager, a smirk plastered onto his lips.
"Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" Elena started to question Klaus, almost in tears.
