Chapter Five: Too Close with Feelings

[A/N: I am a terrible person I have not updated in like a week]

Liam's POV

We breathlessly pulled away from the intense kiss. I looked into Louis's eyes. His eyes had something, but I couldn't figure it out. He fumbled with the seat belt and practically sprinted out the door. I got out and ran after him. I had to find him.

"Louis wait!"

Louis's POV

I jumped out the door and sprinted. I had no idea where I was going but I needed to figure out my feelings. I couldn't like Liam. I couldn't get hurt again.

"Louis wait!"

I didn't stop I needed to keep going. I turned to run across the street when I saw bright lights and heard a distant yell. I was tackled to the ground. More lights and horns sounded. I couldn't move, I was in to much shock. I felt my self being carried somewhere. I slowly opened my eyes to see Liam carrying me to a bench on the sidewalk. I can't believe I almost got hit by a car. My eyes watered and Liam looked at me. I saw his hair had dirt and mud in it, he had a bloody nose, and he had scratches all over his face.

Tears started streaming down my face. I felt horrible that he risked him self for me.

"Sorry," I whispered.

He put me on the bench and looked me in the eyes," Don't do that again Louis," he croaked with watery eyes.

I nodded and he pulled me into a hug," Louis why did you run?" he questioned.

I felt even more guilty that just ran away. I'm a coward. I pulled away, looked in his eyes, and whispered," I was scared."

"Why," he questioned softly.

"The past," I said while wiping some tears.

"Can we go Liam," I pleaded. He nodded and helped me get up.We walked in silence back to Zayn and Harry's house.

Liam opened the door and we walked into the living room to see Harry and Zayn getting at it with an intense snog session. I gagged and yelled while shielding my eyes," EEWWW THAT IS DISGUSTING COULD YOU EAT EACH OTHER FACES LATER, GROSS."

Harry and Zayn pulled away and looked at us, flustered. Their eyes widened when they took in our appearance. "You guys look like you both got hit car." Zayn said with large eyes.

Liam and I both looked at each other. Harry growled," What happened, tell us."

Liam said quietly," Well almost."

I think Zayn and Harrys' eyes bulged out of their head," WHAT!"

"WellsomethinghappenedandIwasrunningacrossthestreetandacarwascomingandLiamsavedmeandnowwearehere."I breathed in about ten seconds. All of them just looked at me.

"Come again," Harry asked with confusion.

I sighed," Well I almost got hit by a car and Liam saved me."

I was then tackled into a hug by my best mates," Oh my gosh Boo I am soooo sorry that....are you okay....do you need too go to the hospital...why where you running across the street.. you could've died....I can't lose my best mate...." Harry was in hysterics rambling on.

I grabbed his shoulders and said," But I'm just fine Haz just a little shaken but fine. Do you mind if I stay here tonight?"

Harry just hugged me again and said,"Course Lou you can stay and Liam, Zayn can take you home when your ready and thanks for saving Lou. I know he is thankful to but he's too bull headed to admit it."
