One year later

Liam's POV

I ringed my heads nervously and paced a bit around the small pavilion where Louis and I would have our date, even after a year of dating him I still get nervous. He told me a few months ago that he loved this small area of the park. The area was reserved for the rest of the night. I made sure that we could have this night alone, Niall with Harry and Zayn.

The area was a small beautiful area with soft green grass, wild flowers blooming everywhere, a lovely pond near with clear water. Bright clear lights were strung across the top of the pavilion making a soft glow in the night. The pavilion was a beautiful structure with pink, red, and white roses climbing up the sides. Tonight was perfect, clear night sky and the stars were brilliantly clear, no wind or anything.

I set up a table with roses on it for us to eat on in the pavilion. I had someone prepare dinner for us, some fancy Italian pasta with amazing bread sticks and some red wine. I hoped he liked it, honestly I'm so cliché , it's just who I am.

I adjusted my bow tie, Louis said he had a thing for a man who wears bow ties, whatever makes him happy. I hope he enjoys what I planed tonight.

Zayn's sleek black convertible pulled up and Zayn got out opening the door for Louis. He looked beautiful in all honesty. His lovely caramel brown hair spread loosely across his forehead, barely covering his bright blue eyes. He was wearing my navy and gray sweater, which was a bit too big, that slid off his shoulder a bit. He wore faded navy skinny jeans that fit his bum perfectly with some gray toms. He looked adorable.

Louis eyes widened when Zayn helped him out. His eyes landed on me and he blushed. I smiled and nodded at Zayn for him to leave. He winked and got in his convertible, driving away.

Louis' eyes widened even more taking in the scenery," Liam did you do this all for me?"

I smiled and pulled him into a kiss," Of course love. I wanted to make our first anniversary together special."

He beamed and hugged me," You didn't have to do all this." He said mumbling into my shoulder. He pulled away looked back up at me.

"I wanted to love, now Louis would you care to join me for dinner." I said playfully, winking at him.

"Course Mr. Payne how could I refuse!" He said back, playfully. I hooped my arms with his and walked him to our table in the pavilion. I pulled a chair out for him, he sat and I pulled out a chair from across him and sat.

I whistled and Harry came out with his crazy tux carrying out our dinner. Harry even put on a fake mustache. Louis raised an eyebrow at me and chuckled. Harry put our food the table and wiggled his eyebrows at us. He skipped away humming a tune.

Louis and I both laughed at Harry, he's obnoxious. Louis looked at the food hungrily," It looks delicious!"

"I hope you like it." I said looking at my food. I looked up to see Louis shoving his face full of food. He caught me looking at him and swallowed.

"I love food, not as much as our son, but I still love food!" I chuckled, melting and smiling at him. He said Niall was our son!

We are talking about work and our families, talking about everything our minds came to think of. It was wonderful. The sun finally set and I knew it was about time.
