The Assassin

Part IX: Powers

I was watching the news and the monsters that T'Challa, Peter, Tony, Thor, Natasha, and I fought over a year ago. I gasped. I called Natasha and the rest of the gang over to where I was. "How is this possible?" I asked when they were all in the room. 

"Well, when you got 'killed', the monster disappeared, and I guess they came back, just like you did," Thor said. Everyone looked over to him with wide eyes. "What?" he asked. "You just said something smart for once," I said. "That's just rude!" he said.

"Well, it's true. All you do is make inappropriate jokes and be stupid," Natasha said. "Okay, that's actually pretty true," he said. "But, what're we going to do about these... monsters?" I asked. "Well, look, they look different, don't they?" T'Challa said.

"Yeah, so?" I asked. "Well, since their different, that means..." Natasha said. "There must be something different about you, too," Tony said, "Let's go t-to that r-room again, shall w-we?" "Yeah, I guess," I said, then we went to a medical room.

Tony scanned my body to see if there was anything wrong with me. A few minutes afterwards, Tony came up to me and said, "Y-You have superpowers." "I-I do?" I ask, sitting up. "Yes,  it turns out when I blasted you it gave you some superpowers," he said. 

"What superpowers do I have?" I ask. "Invisibility, fire, and a shield," he said. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Yes, I'm su-" he cut himself off, "Where are you?" "What do you mean? I'm right here," I said. "Well, I don't see you," he said. I started walking quietly. 

I was behind Thor and then I scared him. He screamed a "girly," scream. I became visible again and giggled. "I'm going to kill you," Thor said. I raised my hands up and fire came out. Everyone dodged the fire so they wouldn't get hurt. 

"Looks like you need some practice," Tony said.
