Weaver's POV
Everyone has left for the evening because they all have awards ceremonies to attend for their cheer, football and basket ball titles or whatever. Mom, dad, Rae, Jasper and Arloe have gone and I am getting ready for a date.

A date with Blaine.

Arloe's Best Friend.

I am so nervous right now and I have no idea what to wear so I choose a simple dress, light make up and sneakers. <outfit below>

I leave my room and head to the main entrance and wait for Blaine to knock. I mess with a piece of hair, twirling it around my finger absentmindedly.

A small gasp is followed by "Hello Miss Weaver, you gave me quite the fright! I thought you'd gone out with your parents?"

"Oh, I'm very sorry Mrs Williams. I didn't mean to frighten you. And, no, I'm not going out with them..." I reply, casting my eyes towards the ground.

"Ohhh, very well. Have fun on your date with Master Blaine..." she says smiling and walking off. She leaves me stood by the door in a state of shock. How did she know?

The doorbell ringing pulls me out of my funk. I straighten my dress and take a deep breath before opening the door.

There, on the steps, stands my lifelong crush. He is wearing a pair of ripped black jeans, a fitted grey sweater that shows all his muscles on top of a white collared shirt. The top button is undone and you can see a tiny bit of chest hair. His hair is gelled to the side.

Safe to say. He is hot.

I smile at him.

"Weaver you look gorgeous, as always" I blush and reply...

"You look gorgeous too!" I say laughing.

"Haha Weaver. but you know if anyone else called me gorgeous I would feel insulted but you... when you call me it, I don't mind."

I don't know what to reply so I just smile and say...

"Shall we go?"

"Yeah, come on..." he walks over to the passenger side of the car and holds the door open. Man, a true gentleman.

He gets in the car and we set off. I turn on the radio quietly until 'I like me better' came on. I turned it up and looked over at Blaine. We make and hold eye contact for what seems like forever before he turns his attention back to the road. I look out the window and hum quietly along with the song. I feel Blaine's eyes on me but I fear my face is too flushed to turn around.

We reach a small parking lot about 10 metres from the beach. I can see the waves lapping at the sand. The sun is low, almost touching the horizon.
