Good Things

They set everything up for the cats and feed them. The cats sleep on their cat tree and Leo and Charlie lay in their bed. Leo's laying on Charlie's chest tracing the tattoos on Charlie's arm. Charlie's watching him smiling. Charlie grabs his phone and scrolls through insta only using the arm that Leo isn't tracing on. After a while Charlie puts his phone down. He stops and hears little snores coming from Leo. Charlie laughs softly to himself and kisses the top of Leo's head. He looks over at the cat tree and the kittens. They're sleeping too. "Like father like child" Charlie whispers to himself. He falls asleep. Leo wakes up the next morning and Charlie's arms wrapped around him tightly. He tries to slip out but Charlie's grip tightens. He looks over at the kittens playing with a little toy mouse. Leo smiles to himself. "Babe?" Leo says softly. "Mmmm" Charlie moans. "I wanna go shower" Leo says trying to get free. "Noooo" Charlie whispers. Leo pokes Charlie's cheek. Charlie moves his face. "Stop it" he whispers. He kisses Leo's cheek and lets him go turning his back to him and drifting off to sleep again. "Love you" Leo says leaving the room. The brown and white kitten who they named Yuki followed Leo and the orange kitten they named Ginger jumped in bed with Charlie. Leo got out of the shower and saw Charlie and Ginger still sleeping. Leo sat next to Charlie on the bed. "Baby" Leo whispered. "Mhmm" Charlie moaned. "We need jobs" Leo said. "Good idea babe" Charlie said as he grabs Leo waist and pulls him closer to him. Charlie puts his head on Leo's leg and put his arms around Leo's waist. "But first. Sleep" Charlie says. Ginger gets up and makes his way to the cat tree with Yuki. "Babyyyy! I just showered!" Leo exclaims trying to push Charlie off. "Ugh. Fine" Charlie says. He gets up and goes to shower. Leo takes everything off the bed and does laundry. As Leo is putting everything back on the bed, Charlie comes up from behind him and picks him up. "AAAHHH!!" Leo screams. "It's just me!" Charlie says putting him down and turning him around to face him. Leo rolls his eyes and leans his head on Charlie's chest. Charlie kisses the top of his head and hugs him. "I love you lion" Charlie says. "I love you too baby" Leo mumbles nestling into Charlie chest. After a minute Charlie pulls away. "Come on. I'll help you" He says going on the other side of the bed. They finish and sit on the floor playing with the kittens. After about an hour, they check the time. It's 2:30pm. They start thinking about jobs. "Why don't we both get jobs at the shelter? It's close and we both love cats" Leo says. Charlie smiles. "If that's what you wanna do, then that's what we'll do" he says. Leo smiles and nods. "We'll go on Monday. It's already Friday so they're probably not gonna do anything till Monday" Charlie says. Leo nods and looks back at the kittens who are wrestling. They both laugh a little. They go downstairs and watch a movie. A little more than half way through the movie, Leo falls asleep on Charlie's chest. Charlie finishes the rest of the movie. He carries Leo upstairs and to bed. Charlie gets in bed and lays on Leo's chest and falls asleep.
