Charlie gets into the car and starts driving. He was driving home from school when suddenly a figure pops up on the side of the road. He slows down and gets out of the car. He takes a closer look and sees it's a boy around his age. The boy sees Charlie and gets up like he's about to run. "I'm not gonna hurt you" Charlie says softly. The boy stops as Charlie moves closer. "What's your name?" Charlie asks. "L-Leo" the boy answers softly. Charlie nods. "I'm Charlie. Do you need a ride home?" Charlie asks. "I don't have a home" Leo says holding back tears. "They kicked me out once the found out I was gay". Leo breaks down crying. "Come here" Charlie says as he hugs him. Leo immediately hugs back. "It's ok, you can stay with me" Charlie whispers. "I don't wanna cause trouble" Leo starts to say, but Charlie cuts him off by putting his hand on Leo's mouth and smiling softly. Leo stops and gets in the car with Charlie. When they get to Charlie's house, Charlie gives Leo some clothes and tells him to go shower. Leo nods and Charlie waits in the living room. Leo gets out of the shower and sits next to Charlie on the couch. Neither of them say anything, but Charlie moves a little closer to Leo. They hear thunder from outside and Leo starts shaking. Charlie stands and takes Leo's hand and leads him into the bedroom. They sit on the bed together in silence for a while. Then they hear thunder again and Leo shakes more and closes his eyes. Charlie puts his arm around Leo and holds him close. "Your ok, I promise" Charlie says softly. Leo and Charlie lay down and put the blanket over them. The thunder storm didn't stop. Every time Leo heard it, he would flinch and Charlie would tell him he was ok. Finally, Leo calmed down and fell asleep. Charlie went to get up to sleep on the couch when Leo grabs his arm. "Stay" Leo says softly almost falling asleep as he's talking. Charlie stands there for a second and Leo pulls his arm a little. Charlie gets back in bed and Leo curls up next to him. "Thanks" Leo whispers. "No problem" Charlie says as he rubs Leo's arm. They both fall asleep after a while.
