TAEYEON POV
It's heavily raining throughout the entire week but still I had to work my butt off, no job then I had no food to eat nor pay for the small apartment rent. I've been checking on wrist watch if the bus will arrive very soon but luck wasn't on my side for I had to wait for a couple of minutes when a woman bumped into me, she's in a hurry to find some shed against the heavy rain so that she couldn't get wet, I bet she had no umbrella with her because her clothes went soak a bit. I glance at her and let out a small smile when our eyes met but she could only give me an arrogant look before she turned her head away while were both waiting for the bus. How rude.
"What's the time now?" The rude young woman asked me before I check the time again.
"It's almost past 7." I answered shortly before she looked from afar watching if the bus is on its way but unfortunately non. So unlucky day!
"Can you help me out?" The young woman blurted out not sure if she's talking to me but when I looked around there's no one aside from us, I furrow my brows in confusion and pointed to myself with a questioning look bwfore she slightly nodded.
"W-What is it?" Before I knew it she literally dragged me out of the heavy pouring rain and in reflex I open my yellow umbrella protecting us both from the rain.
"I need to runaway and unfortunately you're the only one I could seek for help." She had no choice what I've been thinking she had a type on me. We're now holding hands or more like she's holding my rough hands as I felt how soft her hands were. We've been running with my umbrella on failed to gave us some shed because we are clumsily raining in random direction with her dragging my body but she had a smile on her face.
"It's kinda fun when I'm running under the rain I forgot how my life is a tragic and messed up!" She happily yelled as she lose herself under the rain but she's kinda beautiful in my opinion bwfore we stopped in not so familiar place, a mini old motel.
"We're finally here." She stopped and pause for awhile before she looked at me with a confusing look from her face.
"Come in." She open the door without knocking and she lead me inside, it's so creepy inside but a middle age lady stood infront of us with a smile before she asked the young woman.
"Welcome back Soojung!" The lady said before she enveloped the woman inside her embrace and I just stood there immobile whe watching them.
"Who is she?" Now, it's my time to speak so I brushing off the wetness from my leather jacket and carefully clearing out my throat.
"She's my girlfriend." Yes, I'm what? Her girlfriend? Is she serious? The lady could only gasped and quickly composed herself before she awkwardly smile on us.
"Don't tell me you runaway again? For how many times you will be doing this?" The middle age lady nagged at her like her own mother and I could only watched them in silence while I'm slowly taking off my jacket.
"But I don't want to get married with someone else specifically with a random guy I never loved." The woman named Soojung said before the lady patted her shoulder while smiling bitterly at her.
"You're now the only heir of our father's inheritance." The good looking lady said before she glance back at me but now with a genuine smile on her face.
