TAEYEON POV
I blinked my eyes when the sunlight pierces on the curtain before I patted the empty space beside me, my lovely wife was nowhere to be seen as my eyes wandered around our room. I pulled up my body stretching my arms before I climbed off the bed, I check myself first on the mirror across the room still handsome as ever I smirk on myself before I turned the knob smelling the delicious scent of my favorite American breakfast, I'm sure she was cooking in the kitchen for both of us now. I let my foot dragged me from where my wife and there she was wearing her favorite purple apron that I gave her on our 1st anniversary as a married couple. I tiptoed towards her spot before I surprise her by backhugging her petite waist causing her to smack my head but she kissed it afterwards not letting my childish and whiny side attacks her early in the morning.
"Morning ugly poop." I pouted knowing how much she loves to tease her husband as well as picking on my height.
"Morning to you too my sweet Jung." I'm going to peck her lips when she push me away from her with a cute pout on her lips I always loved.
"I told you to stop calling me Jung because it's Mrs. Kim!" She always scolded me when I'm calling her Jung instead of Kim because I love seeing her aegyo when she sulked or whined infront of me.
"Arra! Arra! But I love seeing your sulking face early in the morning baby." I defended before she ignore me and continue cooking our breakfast, I lean my chin on her shoulder causing her to nuzzle her cheeks on mine while she works her magic in the kitchen.
"I love you." I whisper on her ear.
"I love you more baby." She whisper back not turning her head.
"Baby?" I chirp.
"Hm?"
"Did you even brush your teeth?" I playfully asked before she turned her head glaring sharply at me. I quickly pulled away before she chase me but to my surprise I receive a quick kiss on my lips and she smile widely at me getting back on her stuff.
"Why you're so sweet today?" I asked curiously because she wasn't a morning person to start off her day. She always ignored me and even yelled at me that I forgot something before I went to work.
"So I don't have any rights to be sweet sometimes on my husband?" She furrow her brows before I gave her a peace sign.
"Just kidding." I dorkily smile at her in return before I put the plates on our counter table.
"I want to go shopping today." My wife said with her cold voice maybe I went too far with my jokes.
"Okay." I answered as I watched her silently observing her behavior.
"Soojungie~" I rarely acts cute on her but today I might offended her because she's starting to gave me a cold shoulder.
No respond.
I stop eating and tried to reach her hand but she yanks it away and put down her fork before she glares at me I knew it I pissed her off.
"Sorry baby please don't ignore me." I show my puppy eyes on her before she peck my lips caught me off guard making my eyes widen.
"You should be thankful because I'm in my good mood today." I'm starting to fell inlove more deeply in my wife despite of our huge age gap since I marry her when she's still on her last year in college.
"Thank you Mrs. Kim." She smile sweetly at me before I smile back at her makes my heart went wild before she spilled her next word that caught me by surprise.
"You're welcome soon-to-be Dad!"
